I'm gonna have to cancel my 360 pre-order... My 'room-mate' decided that when he moved out he'd take other peoples stuff with him as well.. such as my TV, XBox, all my games and 90% of my CDs... (A total of ~$1,500 worth of stuff).

OMG we just got our final Xbox 360 dev kits and it does come with a telescope! Damn lense is made out of cheap plastic (no pun intended Wink

) though and says nVidia right in the middle of the viewing area.

The Japanese price for the 360 was announced an hour or so ago. 37,900yen will get you the pimped bundle set with the wireless controller, component cables, yadda yadda yadda...

What this means is presented here in a wonderful price comparision prepared by me.

Cost in each territory:
USA - 399.99usd
Cda - 499.99cad
UK - 279.99ukp

What you would pay in each territory if you converted the Japanese price:
USA - 342.97usd
Cda - 405.34cad
UK - 188.61ukp

There were rumours over here that the cost was going to be 45,000yen and that would have priced it right out of the market. However this price is going to wow a lot of folks. What a coup for the MS Japan marketing team! Now I am screwed. I would like to pay the Japanese price, but I want a system that will play North American games. Damn!
