Man, I'm still on my second riddle. Granted I haven't put a whole lot of time into it, but that's pretty stinkin impressive! With any luck, I'll get a little less lazy and join the Angels in the near future Smile

I have joined the world and entered the matrix. I was actually online last night.

Things are heating up in the matrix world! Last night while I was playing and trying to figure out how to contact you guys, There came a strange mesage from an unkown source. It described somone as having illegal or illicit code fragments and that humans should go to the nearest hardlaine, surrender the fragments and jack out. they gave us 12 hours to comply and this source would send platoon leaders to enforce their rules.

Here's what I personally experienced during this time so far.
The message came up just after I finished a mission for tyndal to try to save a self substantiated redpill. I say attempt because by the time i got back to him with medical supplys he had just collapsed. then my operator noted a strange residual something left by the guy. like his rsi could be still around the matrix somewhere. then the message hit when i was back at a vendor cashing in and seeing what I could buy.

I then was sent on a mission to meet with niobe. I thought this was pretty strange but went anyway. when I found the spot I talked with her and she she said that a Commander locke wanted to speak with me. he said he had been watching my work and was pleased with it and to keep it up. That encounter didn't seem like anything but a good job keep it up type meeting no special instructions from niobe or anything. later their were reports on RFZ about people meeting with niobe on several servers. didn't pay to much attention to that though as I was on a mission for silver at the time.

There were reports of two people who had code fragments this unkown source wanted to get. jutz was pursued by someone(an agent if i remember right and killed) there was also a majeniko person mentioned by the source as well. not sure what happened with him.

Later on another attempt to complete a mission(i am aving trouble with a couple security people) I ran into a red eyed agent either escorting or being gaurded by a club thug. I examined him and found him to be a levle 41 so naturally I was shaking in my Luciens. Before I could decide whether to talk with him or do anything with him he ran off around a building and dissapapered.

I then went on to do some more attempts on the mission and found two things. A collector with a person next to them located near enough to a hardline but not easily seen. this collector and person wanted a pda from agents with red eyes that had some code fragments on it. seems to have been related to the illegal fragments on a certain sources wish list. I tagged the spot on my map so I could find it again should I or any member of our crew wish to go there.

That brings me to my final thoughts on my experience so far. It is a lot of fun to play the game and listen to radio free zion at the same time. Although they had many technical difficulties last night during the time of the messages, it was fun to listen to the reports in the matrix while playing it adds a whole new level of interactivity with the game similar to our ARG games.

We should most definitely organize us ARGers in the Game and try to show them what we can do. To that affect we need to establish our network of players and make sure we can properly comminucate with each other. I was able to get fugitive on my buddies list but was having problems communicating with him, which meant I couldn't tell him where I was or get him to tell me where he was so we could link up. That is probably due to my inexperience with how to do things in the game and also possibly due to the chaos at the time last night.

With Splintercell's instructions, I will hopefully contact the rest of you in the next few days. Once we have the cummincations within the group established we can then coordinate our online time and Start working as a group within the story line of the matrix.

Glad to finally hook up with you guys online. Had fun patroling the grounds while you heavy hitters took care of mission items. half the time I spent just trying to keep up with you guys. I went off on my own later after you guys sort of vanished. boy i really do need a team to work with or something, I can't seem to complete a mission by myself anymore. the basic design of the missions now seem tailored to groups. It's fun with a group but only if everyone sticks together and we should really coordinate our roles. I for one would like to try the role of Spy within the group. Sneaking into places disabling security and opening doors and locked chests. I also want to figure out all those Blue and yellow icons on mission maps. they must be where treasure is located on the map. something i could do while you warriors handle the fighting.

On another note, Agent hunting in the game has become the major push right now. with factions blocking others from collecting fragments, and these factions battling for both the agents and control of the collectors areas. Our faction should help out. I see three ways we can do this;
1. Form hunting teams to destroy agents and get the fragments to collectors.
2. Form defense teams to secure the collectors areas
3. Form harasser teams to harass enemy collector locations and retard enemies from getting fragments.

I will be on around 5:00 pom MST tonight to aid in the effort in any way I can.
Hope to see many of you there!

Better to get the game vash and add us as buddies.

On another note;

All I can say is great minds think alike. I knew we had to get fragments but did not know the importance of them until last night.

We all got a neo's insight fragment that gives special toughnes when activated. the power increases as more fragments from agents are found by your faction as we found out later.

Our faction was getting worked over because the Merovingians were organinzing better and pulled ahead. Thus we got a visit from Niobe. our captain gathered, us along with other faction groups, to hear from Niobe. she explained that we were behind and that we should try to work together as factions to pull ahead of the merovs. then she departed to let the factions organize.

organize we did and hopefully we pulled ahead of the merovs. It was later announced on RFZ that merovs had a meeting late that night before I went to bed (at 2:00am).

I myself spent the evening gathering fragments from agents. it was slow at first since I was hanging with some of my group around mara south. the agents proved too powerful in group for me alone so I went elsewhere to find lower level agents where numbers would not be a problem.

And find them I did. I staked out my little area and continued collecting fragments, money and items. After a while something strange happened. A tough agent (same level as mine) took over a bluepill and attacked me. This was a periodic reoccuring theme throughout the rest of the evening until I went to bed.

I have a theory that if you collect enough PDA's or fragments from agents they begin to target you and send agents to try and stop you.

Also I wonder if anybody has tried to decompile the PDAs? to see what makes them tick and see if we can extract neo fragments from them. perhaps I will get SMOK3 to try this tonight (when we are not hunting agents).

Also I will try to pick up the prima guide so I can get a little extra knowledge of places and stuff.

maybe the PDAs have a tracking device in them, or some way to tell who has the most in the area. So you were atked. I think it will only get harder for you. Good luck ( i can never find the emotion for a serious face like my avatar on Bungie forums)
