it says "you there yt?" and its attached synagoga.icon

 		grr i still havent caught her online. did anyone take the time to try and find a pattern for her signing on and off?

I don't think Syn is actually in Clea's head, although clearly they share a connection through the chip. I don't know what that connection is, but I think Syn exists independently of Clea. Gah, I really want to write a long specy post, but I have no time. (Hey, guys? Nothing exciting is allowed to happen in the next few days, ok? Everyone got that, right? Sad)

So, just a quick reason, then:
Clea shocks Syn, causing error messages about things like cardiac failure, death (!!!), etc. If these messages can be believed, then Syn must have a body, and an independent existence. Right? I'm inclined to believe that she is the "pretty" girl in the tank, but just has no idea what she looks like. That's not really relevent to the argument, though.

Also, we can't really judge the Devil until we find out the purpose of the project. He didn't save Syn because he likes her or feels bad for her - he saved her because she is his work. That's spec, granted, but I don't think we know anything to the contrary. It appears that Clea calls him the Devil because she's against the project. We don't have any way of judging that now, because we don't really know what they're trying to accomplish.

Let me speculate...

1. An entity that appears to be able to veiw things remotely (psychicly?).
2. Can relay that information to a website or log file or even directly into the mind of a "keeper".
3. Appears to be able to access security systems and dodge protective measures.

I can see only one ultimate purpose for such a creation. I will tell it to you in one word... WEAPON.

Now, now. We can't really say that for sure. She may be designed with nefarious spying purposes in mind. Or maybe not. Maybe Synagoga was originally a project to allow cybernetic connection between human beings and computer systems.

Even if she was designed for information intrustion, that doesn't make her weapon.

There is the fact that this group seemingly experiemented on a human being in pursuit of the goals that bothers me much more than Synagoga's final purspose. The way they manipulated her, the way they and Eccleastia tried to take away her free will.

Still, I have to agree with xnbomb and Omnie. We don't know the motives of "the Devil" and "Eccleastia". All we really have are Eccleastia's view on the project, and I think the project so profoundly began to affect Eccleastia's mind that her opinion of other people doesn't seem to be the most reliable.

 		XN! Good to see you in here, long time no bees!

This morning's chat threw us all off, it was something like 10:30. Remember it was always in the evening.

I still think of Ecce and Syn as eeprate individuals, Syn in the Jar, Ecce overseeing. You have seen my emails to Ecce, the trick here is for Syn to be able to be on her own with destroying everyone while doing it. I actually hold some sympathy for Ecce in this. I think we are all really on the samer side, the trick beinbg to teach Syn for her new surroundings.
