Excuse me guys, maybe it's just my brain cells count that it's falling far too low, but yesterday night, when the /creator pages appeared, weren't them all named "we want it"? Because now page 6 reads "Your" and page 10 reads "soul"...
Feel free to trout me if I'm wrong.

Quite right:
/creator/ reads We
/2.html reads Want
/6.html reads Your
/10.html reads Soul

They are being updated one at a time then: I still have onscreen the pages opened an hour ago, and the 2 pages you mentioned still read "we want it".
Reloading now, they change to "we" and "want", as you said.
I'm having a hard time working on all that stuff. It's total information overload.

It might be a good idea, at some point, to divvy up the remaining puzzles so that individuals don't feel pulled in all directions.

Magnesium's melting point seems like a good explanation of 650, but I just wanted to add that it's also the half-life of a free neutron (in seconds).

Since the 650 is rather ambiguous and there are plenty of possibilities.... here's another one
650 (nm) is the wavelength of red light (roughly speaking). Which fits nicely with the 2nd code, the Rydberg constant, relating light emissions and atoms, and the 3rd code representing the atomic weight of Argon.
Just thought I would throw that one out there too.

I noticed something in the first puzzle:
There seems to be a theme involving pairs of items out of the three
2 people - 1 cat
2 are drinking - 1 isn't
2 fingers are up on the guy's left hand - 1 on the right hand
2 WAV files use the word larva in their name - 1 doesn't
2 WAV files have 2 words in their name - the other has 1 word
the sounds in 2 of the WAV files correspond with their images - 1 doesn't
so, maybe the word is "Pair" or "Two" which would give us a letter of P or T
Edit: I missed one earlier. 2 are young (larva/kitty) - 1 is old (larvadad)
Edit 2: I originally thought the sounds were a 'meow', 'want some rye', and a 'splat' hence the above entry -- some have said they think this may be a 'slurp'; in which case the idea is still valid - 2 are "speaking" and 1 is not. The sound is rather short and vague so I just wanted to clarify this point.

Listed like so:
Erythrophobia or Erytophobia or Ereuthophobia- 1) Fear of redlights. 2) Blushing. 3) Red.
I took the 3rd phobia to correspond with the 3rd def, although maybe all 3 can be used to refer to all 3 objects of fear.

Ok, so we have it doing letters then...
1 P T (thanks Step!) fisherman
2 L (laser, light, latin) guard
3 U (phobias) ghost
4 G (4Gs) mappy
5 S (shoe types) ballet
6 D (celebrity Ds) stargazer
7 numbers (not sure what to make of here)
8 teacher (field trip itinerary)
9 jumble (russian letters?)
10 T (tentacles) photographer
Methinks we will be getting some cleartext soon enough. Just 3 more, and there Is a rhythmn! Awright, oldies, newbies, everyone jumping in!

After a long day on IRC I wanted to update everyone on some interesting ideas regarding this puzzle.
This is a little long so bear with me
It started out with me talking about the first puzzle and this theme of similarities between pairs of items out of the three on the page( see my earlier post in this thread). I mentioned that it reminded me of the song "One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others" from the PBS TV show Sesame Street.
Later, latecomer picked up on this idea from the song and realised that it may apply to the /creator puzzle as a whole and not just the first page as I was originally thinking.
After some checking, this idea that there may be an obvious difference on each puzzle seemed to be true. For example, on /4 there is 1 flag and 3 maps. On /9 one of the html codes for the greek charcaters starts with an 8 all the others start with 9. On /6 one of the celebrities is female. And so on.... A difference was found for each page of the puzzle.
However, upon closer inspection we discovered that some of the puzzles( if not all) have more than one trait that can be used to determine the catagorization. For example, on /6, as Chorus pointed out, all are male except Doris Day but all are actors except for Salvador Dali( a painter). Likewise, on /10 the octupus is the only one that has its 'red-eye' on its suckers instead of on its eyes but the band is the only image that is not of an invertebrate.
Other examples were found and many people helped. But I don't want to make this post too long so I'm not going to post all the gory details; I just wanted to get the idea across.
So, the gist of all this is that there may be a lot more to this puzzle than we first thought. This theme of similarities and differences seems to be an important part in trying to understand this puzzle as a whole, so I wanted to share it in the hope that we can makes some sense out of it all.

Lets try and work out the aim of this puzzle before we try and solve it...
The other puzzles have led us to new pages with more puzzles, or chat logs, so if it's a word lets try the words that pop up in the /creator pages i.e. first one; cat, drinking, fisherman, drunk, lazy, etc. etc.
Maybe this will help?
