This is the Greek with the english equivalent letters

gamma ano-teleia kappa epsilon
iota beta beta numeral-sign ano-teleia iota
lamda gamma xi stigma alpha
gamma ano-teleia rho

points of interest are the numeral sign (') which indicates numerical use of letters and the ano teleia (denoted by semi-colon Wink. Stigma normally represents 6

If you convert every greek letter to their numerical equivalent you get:

gamma = 3
ano-teleia
kappa = 20
epsilon = 5

iota = 10
beta = 2
beta = 2
numeral-sign
ano-teleia
iota = 10

lambda = 30
gamma = 3
xi = 60
stigma = 6
alpha = 1

gamma = 3
ano-teleia
rho = 100

There seems to be a centering around hundreds.
3 * 20 * 5 = 300
10 * 2 * 2 * 10 = 400
30 + 3 + 60 + 6 + 1 = 100
3 * 100 = 300
I don't know if that's meaningful or just coincidence.

(Quick adddendum: If a sigma is in a 'final position' -- that is, as the last letter of a word -- then it is written as a stigma. So stigma doesn't *have* to be 6.)

And there's the answer. The missing term? 200!

Or maybe, if we're looking for a word, the answer is "hundreds".

Just gonna throw in my two cents here (I imgagine its been thouroughly covered in IRC... what have you)
That picture on (grr, can't remember which page, will have to edit... its the one with the jumbled letters on it), someone said it looks like baby feet. Now maybe its just cause I'm taking Bio right now, but I'll be damned if those aren't chromosomes. And I think its significant (sygnificat, heh) that the fingers are *just* touching together, like someone holding a grain of sand.

Most of the pages have now been edited to include commented out letters at the bottom.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The letters are:
f
r
e
e

l
a
n
d

Adam Freeland wrote/produced the song We Want Your Soul.

Which leads to http://www.wewantyoursoul.com/ and http://freeland.fm .

We need some logic leapers to put the pieces together and solve this thing.

Edit: The PM's are tired of waiting on us for this one...I think.

DOH!

Either that's an in-game site and the plot is taking an unexpected, S&S-like twist, or we, er, accidentaly bumped into the site of another upcoming ARG.

Check out this excerpt from the lyrics to We Want Your Soul:

Quote:
Tell us Your Habits, Your Facts, Your Fears
Give us your address, your shoe size, your years
your digits, your plans, your number, your eyes

Bingo. That's what we're looking at all right. Now to just figure out how to get an answer out of it. Nice spot, jbd.

Oh my. It was there all the time. Rolling Eyes

Nice job jbd.

And now... what? I mean, do you guys think that the purpose of the /creator puzzle was actually to point us to the odd wewantyoursoul site, or that's just a weird coincidence and we need to work this out a bit more to find an answer?

M.

Personally I don't think wewantyoursoul.com is "in game" I think we need to find a logic leap to get our next directory.... Who wants our soul is my current favorite spec.

[Edit:] Join the spec-tacular fun in #synagoga and help us out.

Don't no if anyone had found this already but here's the music video, kinda a blatant attack on materialism, commercialism, and the American way. (yea we lost truth and justice somewhere down the line.)
