The only Jersey legends I could find were The Hookerman, The Jersey Devil, and Death Road.

But I'm not sure if or how they connect with Nazis and the like.

What the movie might be alluding to (not necessarily connecting with) are the thousands of people nationwide who claim to be victims of government mind control. Read more about the history and true-life victims' accounts.

Basically, the United States government secretly imported Nazi scientists in the 1940s and 50s to further experiments on drugs and hypnosis on unwitting citizens. The more hideously famous of these programs was called MKULTRA, a CIA mind control experiment to create the perfect assassin (think "Manchurian Candidate").

While I can't say that I've read anything concerning witchcraft, the occult, and rural Pennsylvania, this could easily be the 'fictionalized' part of movie. But I do recall that in order to cover up many of their experiments, the government concocted fantastical 'cover stories' such as "alien abductions;" "schizophrenia" (first introduced during the period of these government experimentations); and "ritual abuse," the satanic/occultish brainwashing and abuse of children. Perhaps the movie is taking a cue from the latter...

At any rate, the victims of these government assaults usually display high rates of paranoia, i.e., "always being watched," and find themselves so paralyzed and isolated within their own communities they take to the 'Net to find support.

If the government did investigate this film and found it inflammatory -- or more to the point, too close to the truth -- they would indeed shut it down. Or at least encourage er, um, collaboration.

I find it romantic that a true victim -- who also happens to be a pretty good hacker -- is really using this stint as a way to wake America up to his/her plight and to the atrocities of our government.

Then again, it could all be just publicity.

Hope this serves as a springboard.

 		Okay, so I did some checking around, and I found the script writer's AIM (it was easy, his email was listed on this page http://newsroom.eworldwire.com/wr/012605/11273.htm and since it was aol, I knew he had to have aim)

So, today, Sam and mtownsend both come on aim at the same time. First I aimed mtownsend, and got the usual gibberish about this is not just a movie, tell all your friends, it's safer if you don't see it. Oh, and she mentioned to watch the site for more hidden stuff in the next few days.

Then she logged off, and I aimed Sam. Here's the log.

Cave Corvus: Nice tagline dude.
Cave Corvus: Unholy is the movie you don't want you to see. And maybe is safest if you don't.
SamuelScript: Who is this?
Cave Corvus: So, is this just a promotion, or will it be a fullscale arg?

So the script writer is claiming the sites been hacked. True, or more arg? Either way, I'll be watching the site to see what happens. Smile

 		ive sent a message to jordan - "hi there im interested in talking to you about the document you have displayed on your profile. i would like to learn more about the holy trinity and the research you were conducting. please email me at ********* thanks." not that im expecting a reply, after all she says hes missing, but i guess it cant hurt trying.

cant seem to send a message to piero as im not closely connected. i did a search for piero on the site. it came up close to 80 profiles, all of which had the option to message, so i guess if we can work out which one s/he is, we can send a message that way...
