 		Okay... finally I have something to say, too.

After I found out that the unholymovie homepage has changed again I tried to mail to gertrude and told her about the homepage to contact her and this was her reply:

 		how do u knwo where to email her?? what is here address?? i see a lot of people write suchandsuchSPALT.com etc what does the spalt mean?? *blond moment.

i wonder who the champion is. do they have to meet in real life??

 		We're talking about meeting up with Gertrude in the other thread called "New Message from Gertrude". I've volunteered to go, but it seems like Gertrude wants more than just a volunteer. She sounds like she wants everyone to agree on who goes.

 		I think a few people clued into the fact that the title at the Unholy site changed to GertrudeLong07 and were able to deduct (duh, not that much of a stretch) that every other email address ended in 07 at aol.com. I sent my email there yesterday.

ETA: psiloluv had an excellent idea - we should nominate Samuel Freeman (aka SamuelScript on AIM) or one of the other guys involved at Sky Whisper Productions to be the champion. AFAIK, they already live in NYC. Then they're free to weave whatever exciting cloak and dagger story they want re: meeting Gertrude and we get more document pages posted at the site.

I kinda get the feeling that Gertrude is reading these boards, by the way she talks to us. I think if she wanted Mr. Freeman to be the one to meet them, she would've been more specific. Maybe I'm just biased because I want to go!! heehee. But seriously, I don't mind going. I think it'd be easier for me to go than to convince Mr. Freeman to go. If nothing happens, or if Gertrude doesn't agree, then we could always do something different.

I guess in the end it's her call. What do you guys think?

I get the feeling (in fact, I can say I'm fairly confident) it's to protect email addresses. The 'SPLAT' replaces the @ (shift+2 on a US QWERTY keyboard, in case it's a forum filter and not something they do themselves) symbol.
