I have been looking over those gertrude emails and maybe its just me but they look a bit like a stuttering machine/tape. like it was prerecorded but damaged somehow.. this may be intentional or it may be just me.

Actually, there's another ARG in the pipeline that has game characters interecting using echo, i.e. they are talking in the future, but the sound is being echoed back to the past. Gertrude's emails remind me of that because of the repetition.. I mean, she's in a shack in Hell... I would imagine Hell would be echoy?

Just want to throw in a suggestion, may be way off base, but perhaps what misery suggests is true.

Who's to say that 'hell' isn't the future? The future if this 'revolution' isn't pulled off?

This movie reminds me of a book i read. it may have been by dean koontz i'm not sure.. Anyways the germans had developed time travel back before WWII and were going to use it to take over the world by bringing back futuristic weapons but then some lady blew them up or something...
