Project Ashcroft..... 2/3?

Ok so I'm just hanging out, minding my own business when a small popup appears from my system tray "JSPHNFRNCS is online".

I happened to be chatting with HKDL at the same time (thank god), and we decided I should message her. Here's the first part of my conversation with hkdl because I accidentally closed my AIM window after Josephine left.

Quote:

miss seph nz: One of my friends used to talk to you, and we didn't really expect to ever see you online again
JsphnFrncs: Things have... Changed
miss seph nz: what things?
JsphnFrncs: more than i can say at the moment.
miss seph nz: When will we be privvy to this information?
JsphnFrncs: Soon.
miss seph nz: Ok, well thankyou for taking the time to talk with me, I hope to hear from you again soon
JsphnFrncs: It is very likely you will

after I closed my window, she messaged me again. I kept this window open Smile

Quote:
JsphnFrncs: After all that has happened... I never would have predicted the turn of events that have taken place.
miss seph nz: Is Naomi ok?
miss seph nz: and Aly?
JsphnFrncs: That is complicated
miss seph nz: how so?
JsphnFrncs: I'm afraid I cannot say.
JsphnFrncs: You see... The powers in place now are watching me very closly.
JsphnFrncs: One of the conditions of my "freedom"
miss seph nz: you're on a very tight leash then?
JsphnFrncs: Would you expect anything less?
miss seph nz: no, i don't suppose I would.
miss seph nz: As you are on a very tight leash, I imagine you are on somewhat of a house arrest yes? How have the latest 'complications' affected you?
JsphnFrncs: You do not have all the information, and I cannot reveal it.
JsphnFrncs: Needless to say the Power has changed hands
JsphnFrncs: And beyond that, I cannot reveal at the moment.
JsphnFrncs signed off at 8:16:54 p.m..

I dub THIS trailhead: Perfectly normal conversation with HKDL

I ever tell any of you I'm terrible at interaction?

Quote:
PokeKiller2k: Hey, Josephine. You're not locked up somewhere? Huh.
JsphnFrncs: Not anymore no.
PokeKiller2k: That wasn't very long
JsphnFrncs: No, i suppose it wasn't.
JsphnFrncs: Is there a problem with that?
PokeKiller2k: No, I guess not
JsphnFrncs: good.
PokeKiller2k: So... How much of all that was really you?
JsphnFrncs: More than you think.

Quote:
PokeKiller2k: Hey, Naomi... How's it going?
NaomiGoldsman: ...
NaomiGoldsman: well
PokeKiller2k: Why the "dotdotdot"? Something wrong?
NaomiGoldsman: I hadn't expected contact
NaomiGoldsman: how are you?
PokeKiller2k: Okay... What have you been up to lately?
NaomiGoldsman: busy, very very busy
PokeKiller2k: Busy... Doing what? If you don't mind me asking, that is
NaomiGoldsman: I'm afraid I'm not allowed to say yet. I haven't finished preparation
PokeKiller2k: Okay, I understand

Quote:
You have just entered room "Nike."

Yes, the name of the room was "Nike."
Quote:
NaomiGoldsman has entered the room.
JsphnFrncs: My.... Instructions are to give you certain information.
NaomiGoldsman: Careful Ms. Francis. I'm watching you.
JsphnFrncs: A new situation has become apparent
JsphnFrncs: Are you with us Mr. poke?
PokeKiller2k: Huh? Yeah, I'm here, sorry
NaomiGoldsman: Watch yourself, Josephine
JsphnFrncs: As I was saying... there is a new power in position.
NaomiGoldsman: I have to go
NaomiGoldsman has left the room.
PokeKiller2k: Erm... Bye...? >_>
JsphnFrncs: And my instructions are to inform you and your... associates of that fact.
PokeKiller2k: Yes, you told Miss Caro that
JsphnFrncs: Your interaction at this point in time will be limited to how usefull you can prove yourselves.
JsphnFrncs: The more useful you can prove to be, the more my... overseers will permit you to interact.
JsphnFrncs: Do you understand?
JsphnFrncs: Your level of interaction will be directly proportional to the degree of information you are privy to.
PokeKiller2k: Okay, I understand
JsphnFrncs: Good.
PokeKiller2k: ... Why is the chat named Nike?
JsphnFrncs: Observant, good. You'll need that.
PokeKiller2k: Um... Is there a reason?
JsphnFrncs: Yes.
JsphnFrncs: Nike is the face of the enemy.
JsphnFrncs: Nike is the new situation.
PokeKiller2k: ... For some reason I get the feeling we're not talking about the shoe people
JsphnFrncs: That would be a correct assumption.

Aww, man! That would've been soo awesome!
Quote:
PokeKiller2k: So, who are we talking about, then?
JsphnFrncs has left the room.
PokeKiller2k: Um... Bye!

Nike is also the Greek (Roman?) goddess of victory, which is why the shoe people chose that name.

Nope, that was Minerva. Nike's a separate goddess. Translation into Latin would probably be Victoria.
