Home from the airport. I'm not sure if that was a success or not.

Got there just about 4:30, but wasn't totally sure where to be. I went upstairs to the departure area and waited in a chair in front of the security checkpoint. At about 4:40 a teenager wearing sunglasses, a knit cap, and carrying a package and sign for "Francis" walked in front of me. I went over and said that I was waiting for him. I said yes, and gave him the password Nike. He thought that I'd be older. I told him that I look younger than I am. (Hee.) He gave me the package, a brown box with "Francis" written on it, and he led me downstairs. (I guess this is where the pickup was supposed to be? Down is the baggage claim area.) We went over in front of the newsstand near the door when a woman came over to us. Busted! The real Josephine. Unfortunately I was too caught up with making sure the package wouldn't get away to get a picture. She was perhaps mid to late 20's, red hair in a ponytail, dark suit jacket and pants, and a lighter color blouse. I had her package. Doh! The messenger (who had previously introduced himself as Alex Peterson) and Josephine argued over this, about who I was and why I had her stuff. I was busy looking through the contents of the box, so I don't remember the exact conversation. But I think it had to do that Josephine was trying to contact the folks at APN maybe? I know when all was done with, she went up the escalator, and Alex said that HHG was done with us. Josephine also said I could have the package and she no longer needed it. Something like that. I apologize for not remembering everything fully. Should have just taken the package and ran.

Package contents:
1) A note on folded white paper reading "ASHCROFT HELP" with a star between the words. Written in pencil.

2) A floppy disk with "Francis" written on the label

3) A cassette tape in a case, with "Francis" written on the label

4) A mini-cassette tape with "Steve" written on label Side A and "John" written on label Side B.

None of my computers have a floppy drive, but I'll try to get access to one that does in the next couple days. Same thing for cassette players. Such old school technology, hehe.

did you check out what was on the disk and tapes? Throw them up here if you can, or a transcript of what you find on them - would be cool to see what it was that Josephine asked for, so that we might be able to figure out what's going on etc --- Never mind, just re read your post fully lol

i think it's very important what is on there, however, so let us know when you do get the information

Okay, drumroll please!

On the disk were 5 files: a Word doc entitled "HHG", a Word doc entitled "Letter", an mp3 file entitled "PetersonInterview", a jpg file entitled "schedule", and a jpg file entitled "Naomi Goldsman Young". (Unfortunately I couldn't read the Naomi file from the disk -- not sure if it's a problem with a corrupted file or a disk error. I have access to computer forensics workstations at school, so I'll try to pop it in there.)

Still no luck getting a mini-cassette player -- I need to bug my husband again to see if his mom does have one after all or not. I also was having a heck of a time trying to get the big cassette to play... because it's actually an 8mm tape. Didn't look closely enough originally, oops. It's a Maxell brand Hi8 MP 120 min XR Metal tape. We have an entertainment media lab at school too, so I can check if they'd have a player.

Damn HHG, have to make things difficult.

One glaring error though, why have they put Guard 3 will not be online at 7:30 when that isnt an option? Maybe they got mixed up with 17:30 (5:30)?

I couldn't figure out when Guards 3 (Slob) and 1 (Disgruntled Employee) were online, but what this all means is:
Guard 1, the disgruntled employee, is on at ____
Guard 2, the average Joe, is on at 4:00
Guard 3, the slob, is on at ____
Guard 4, the APN sympathizer, is on at 5:00
Guard 5, the zealot, is on at 4:30

I guess this means that the best time for the APN to break into the APAS database is at 5:00 PM
