Nice one Phaedra! I tried vagabondssojourn.com yesterday after I got the email, but I didn't try .net or anything else. The email says vs faery at vagabondssojourn.

I guess we have to wait for the vagabonds return before the page leads anywhere.

So how soon is soon?

BTW Good job guys.. good old unfiction teamwork

Yes, good teamwork.

By the "OMG I FINALLY SOLVED A PUZZLE" I didn't mean to imply that I did it myself, just that someone has always gotten to the answer before me.

But did anyone else get the email?

EDIT: Wait a minute -- there are shapes on each letter on the webpage: circles, ovals, a triangle, a square...

Do you think they mean anything?

Yeah, the cards were slick...this is kind of cartoony.

Hmm. Possible...

I'm going to restrain myself before I veer off into wild, ridiculous SPEC.

The ball thingies are scripted to be animated as such, and each one has one of two "a href"s, though I haven't decided if those matter any ("intruly" or "4nwsc"). Each ball is named via the color as a gif.

Ergh! You're right. And a link flashes across the bottom of the screen but not long enough to read it.

Okay, going to get help. Wink

Very Happy

Got my mouse over one of the dots long enough to read "intruly" but I get a 404 page when I enter it.

Yah, the links on the "stars" are "intruly" and "4nswc". Neither seem to give a working page.

Hmm. nswc, except for the "c", sounds like directions: north, south, west, and [not] east.

Just noticed the title of the page:

THE VAGABOND RETURNS SOON!

Maybe this was the pregame. Wink

EDIT: Okay, so who are famous mythological/legendary vagabonds/wanderers/wayfarers?

Odysseus, obviously. The Flying Dutchman. Sinbad, Maddoc, St. Brendan, La Llorona, Orpheus.

Hmm -- from a religious/biblical perspective, the prodigal son, Jesus, a lot of the prophets, the Wandering Jew -- all sort of wandered.

Dunno.

Yeh, that was my first thought... my second one was, 'what the hell is C?'

On a more useful note from my front, loading the .gif images that are aparently the little rotating sprites or, perhaps humoursly, faeries, there are words in the images. They are listed below.

images/ffa500.gif=Venus
images/ff0000.gif=Mercury
images/000000.gif=Moon
images/ffff00.gif=Sun
images/00ff00.gif=Mars
images/0000ff.gif=Jupiter
images/4b0082.gif=Saturn
images/ee82ee.gif=Stars

Oh and... NO MORE PREGAMES. I'm already getting old waiting for PPC to start. *twitch* Ah well... Confused

Edit: Oh, and in case you are wondering, there is no text on images/ffffff.gif, so I didn't list it.
