most precious? so, if stella is the most precious and the star is placed last, does that mean we should be building the spiral from the inside out rather than the outside in?

To offer more speculation Following Bluemachina, I've found that A for Anubis is often depicted as a man with the head of a jackal or a dog, but is also sometimes shown as having the body of a jackal or dog as well. Sometimes he is depicted with one side of his face white or golden and the other black, to symbolize his position in both the celestial and the underworld realms. This has close associations with the description on HWAU, and could be one clue.
As for R, 'Raven' might be the best solution. I haven't found any better.

Pretty much going with Eddie here, but Bluemachina: If were using the six signs on the test page, the Devil is NOT one of them... seems youve competely omitted the Dog sign, and replaced it with one thats not there... I like your line of thinking, though, so if your theory can be slightly amended, you just might have a winner!

Thanks guys. Agree the Angel Lucifer <-> Man in Black <->Black Shuck link isn't particularly elegent and does seem contrived. I just think the Stella ARTOIS thinking can't be discounted, and this was the best i could come up with! We may just need to find a better way to fit it.
When i was coming up with the Latin link I also noticed that Sirus was known as the Dog-star but I didn't get the Anubis link (that's a good one) and i struggled to find any other star links to the ARTOIS letters. Could be worth investigating further though as most of the stars become the dominant star in conjunction with the zodiac calendar dates.
I agree that the star may prove to be the symbol with the most value but I still think that the others will go in ARTOIS order to fit the advertising message
I also think we might be able to discount the fibonacci series. I think all this is giving us is the way to correctly rotate the symbols into the fibonacci spiral. More and more i think we don't have what we need to explain the "worth of a thing is what it brings " clue and I think that might well lie in a clue we will find in Jon's contract once we can get it open

Since Jon is no longer a client of sable+shuck, there is a chance we may never know if there was anything in Jon's contract. I personally think that and the reference number thing were red herrings.

As long as no one solves this; we should know either way when the Zodiac enters Aries on March 21st. If there is no contact from an in game character on that day then we will at least know that theres already enough information available in the game to solve the final puzzle.
Aries states "A mystery man will soon enter your life. He will bring you your hearts desire. At a price.". Intriguing.

Ok, I think I may be going widely off topic there, but I've started reading "The Illuminatus trilogy" again lately - and that just got me thinking: Goethe was part of the Bavarian illuminati.
Start all your conspiracy theories here
Anyway... what I mean is... is any work by Goethe sort of related to his membership of the Illuminati? If so, that would be a good place to look for the worth of the different symbols.
I'll try and research this later at home... not sure what management would think of me browsing too many pages about the Illuminati, masons etc...
Back to Nanaca Crash for now!

Bear in mind that illuminati in the time of Gothe is not the same as illuminati now. It was more of a post-industrial intellectual club. England had the coffeehouse, France had the salon, and German/Bavarian society had the secret society. The reason for these differences was the different political structures of these areas.

Syzygy starting means they're going to be losing their player base fast. I think they'll probably wrap it up soon.
