I think you gave it away with the use of "empire" and "jedi". It's hard NOT to know what those refer to.
One can only hope.

Titanic in space. "it's not for you" 'It's not what everyone wants to see."
I say again: Just don't GO.

Yeah, I hear you. I've got that same bad feeling, but I'm trying to suppress it under an obsessive, almost overwhelming sense of bad humor.

episode 3 of what?
CoffeeJedi, you wanna answer this one?
what? oh, sorry i must have been dozing off there
yes, Space Skirmish is my very favorite movie franchise, I'm a huge fan.... i'll be there in line early to get my tickets for Chapter III: The Revenge of the Bad People. I've heard that it might be almost as good as Chapter V: The Conglomerate Retaliates.
Jorgé Lakuus has been putting his sfx company, Industrial Light and Shiny Things to good use, and is now taking the critizism of Chapter I: The Creeping Phantom to heart. Apparntley Gol Goll's death scene will be fantastic. And the lazer sword battle that transforms Hanniken into the evil Dark Father will be terrific!
Like I said, I'm a huge fan, I'm very knowelegable about these movies, I know more about them then most sci-fi fans know about Trek to the Stars, or fantasy fans about The Rings of the Lord.
(in all seriousness, i saw the Ep3 trailer on Dasro Kast's giant ass hi-def tv in surround-o-sound, and was completely blown away. i really hadn't thought much about it UNTIL that moment. don't forget, there's 5 new long-format episodes of Clone Wars on Cartoon Network this week)

the trailer looked quite good. but then they always do..
honestly nothing can live up to the originals. i just hope its watchable and maybe even enjoyable.... nothing can be memorable these days.
i think people are a little too harsh when criticising it. but hey if they bring back solo (fords reanimated corpse) for ep 17, ill gladly go see it with my grandkids.

See what the critics are saying about Ep. III
I really suggest reading this for all of those who are consider NOT seeing it because of Ep. I and II. Rotten Tomatoes does not post spoilers but Individual Reviews may contain spoilers, so you've been warned.

Well, the local radio station went and saw it a few days ago, and my dad's all buddy buddy with one of those guys arrested one of his meanials or something for stealing at one of the shows they put on, and the guy says that it was better then the first two, so maybe it won't be a complete disappointment, not sure I trust this dj's taste, but I'm happy for A New Hope. maybe we won't be all disappointed...yet again I also heard on the news a few months back that good ol' Lucas is locking away the script to 7, 8 and 9. Guess because he's too old to finish all three, and doesn't want anyone else to direct them. Anyone else know if that's true?

I am tempted to get tickets for opeing night, but I think id rather be getting drunk on my birthday this time. Episode 1 came out on my 21st and rather than get stupidly drunk, a bunch of use went to the movie. So sad.

I don't need to see a review. The man called it "titanic in space."
Though, should he decide to un-cancel Sam and Max I'll buy a pity ticket.

I was with Clayfoot on the wonder'n what ep.III was. Then said something about his "lazer sword" (to quote george). Then I thought about the time I went to see ep.I and there were 2 guys having a "lazer sword" fight befor they realized how crappy ep.I was.
To answer the question.. I'm going.... cuz I'm cool (look at avatar for emoticon face)

Yeah, that was awesome, right up until the point where the DVR had stopped recording the trailer, so we missed the end of it. The screams of anguish from the 4 of us could probably be heard for miles. I'm reservedly excited about EP. III...though I have reduced my expectations very low. It helped me to enjoy Ep. II more than other people seemed to. Here's to hoping, though.
