I played the Ep 3 game, I'm not sure I want to see the movie now. The story of the game was crap. And the Movie cut-scenes interspersed in the game were pretty shitty too. I'm sorry, but after really disliking Eps 1 and 2, I don't want to be let down again by the third. I'll just wait for it to be released on DVD, then get a friend to pay for the rental.

Easiest way to not get let down is to go in with lowered expectations.

On the plus side, rottentomatoes.com has a really good overall rating for the screenies.

yeah only 4 out of 34 reviews (at the time of this post) have given it negative comments and if you look at two of those they aren't really that negative. (Does that make sense??) Read the reviews and you'll understand what I mean.

I was pretty surprised with the good ratings at rotten tomatoes! Honestly, I was not that disappointed on the first two movies. Sure, they are not even close to the originals. But they would never be for me, mainly because I watched the originals as a kid. I go to the movies with very reasonable expectations!

Of course, once you correct for the fanboys who publish without an editor (I don't like rotten tomatoes. Can you tell?) you wind up at 68%.

Hova man, don't go killing anyone now. Someone can loose an eye with that thing.

LOL, I got the last ticket to a midnight showing tonight, me and 4 friends are gonna get to see if this movie lives up to Samuel J.'s description "The one you will look back at years from now and go ' that was the one'"

Or if he's just excited because he gets his big death scene.

I myself will be trying for a mid afternoon mattine on the 19th. A 3:50 pm show is playing here and the theatre is two blocks from work. I did this same time for Episode 2 and the theatre was only moderately populated with Special needs people. I remember it was almost more fun watching them enjoy the show then watching it myself. Anyway Everyone Enjoy the Show!

Yah, most likely when the DVD comes out. Probably a few weeks after actually so I don't have to fight people to get a copy. Somehow my Star Wars excitement just aint what it used to be.

The entire time, I kept thinking "Good lord, how did there end up with this much fuss over a B-Movie?"

It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It mostly wasn't great because the dialogue was absolutely horrible. I mean, B-Movie horrible. The actors tried, but they couldn't even save the dialogue.

The rest of the movie was decent. The battles were fairly good, that I'll give them.

I'll probably post a better review on my livejournal here soon.
