I've been through all the puzzle cards I bought and it's the duplicate ones that I've been leaving lying around. You can order them from Firebox . Writing on napkins could also work, though I'd suggest putting more than just the perplexcity.com URL on there - why not put a simple puzzle (anagram, ROT, Morse Code, etc. ) on there to try to hook people?

There's no such thing as a pointless coffee bar, (except maybe those Ritazzas at motorway service stations without the real gaggia machines, yuck!)
PS inspired by Seej i have also been hiding some spare cards around in Waterstones etc. Went back a few days later to find several had gone....quite exciting!

I've e-mailed Mind Candy and asked for pamplett's that we can print and hide in silly places. The stickers in the 333 packs are too nice for this purpose.

*peers about* I found it through littlegamers.com, they just posted a "look at this" link to Perplexcity, no explanations as to what it was, just a link....fifteen minutes later and I was on Firebox, placing my order. I've since spent half of my waking moments reading blogs and attempting to catch up on the story thus far...Curse my obessive-compulsive tendencies - and, er, hello world.

I found out about it by accident...
Local shop didn't know anything about it but had copies of #027 Bar None as promos.
I was first person in shop to really have a look at it......solved the puzzle and convinced store owner to ring the number....
His face was a picture...with that (quirky Acuity) and the perplexcity webpage...I'm hooked (3 days later!!).
So...totally by accident...(and i've got 4 others to sign up too!!)

I remember looking at the website quickly after the firebox cube advert but didn't look closely enough, and now I'm back but wishing I had stayed the 1st time as now there's an immense amount to catch up on!

I was the same, I glanced the first time but then I got back into it when I got an email saying the cards were released.

Little brother got the Firebox catalog through the post. When I saw Perplex City I was curious and decided I wanted to find out more.

HELLO! ooooo my first post (better make it long)...i discovered, or should i say re-discovered perplexcity yesterday.............i saw the BBC segment on the culture show months ago and thought it was cool but at the time i was knee deep in planning a 3 month trip to Thailand and Cambodia and it slipped away into the ether..................................several months and an amazing trip to asia later...............well yesterday..............i was in my local forbidden planet (southampton) and as i was about to leave (empty handed ) i saw a sticker sheet with 4 stickers all advertising perplexcity.com and next to the stickers were 2 free game cards. curious i picked up the 2 cards, read them, got excited, remembered the BBC thing and here i am!

Meh - I managed to ignore a couple of references in catalogues and that, and then got the Firebox e-mail with the 'Gravity' puzzle in it. These days I'm thinking if I can translate the music from the WhipSmart site into a MIDI file so I can put it on my 'phone.
Wow, and I call one of the Database Administrators at work 'geeky'...

Welcome Alan...and, as I've just been informed by Atro and Snowball, you can already find the mp3 version of the Whipsmart tune here for all your mobile ringtone pleasure.
