How old are the 1.0s?

According to Durga, Gladys joined the Spartan program in 2491 'after a year and a half in Special Forces'. That would put her in her eighties, or more. Would this apply to all the 1.0s? It's just there's something decidedly creepy about a seventeen year old with octogenarian parents. Screwy

Hmm.

Perhaps unnatural longevity is part of the package? Er, if they don't get killed in combat, that is.

If your lifespan is, say, 250 years, having a kid at 80 doesn't seem all that unreasonable.

Not that I actually believe this is what's going on. But I thought I'd say it anyway.

I'd call it a simple continuity error, if it's anything at all. I mean, unnatural longevity by way of Spartan enhancements wouldn't be so far-fetched as say ... unnatural longevity by way of eating human-faced fruits from the tree of demons. However, I think this is just a little detail that everyone deemed unimportant.
I mean, it only took like six months for the BEEKEEPERS of all people to spot this.
