Clues around Abbey road have given the sentence:

Also a clue:

Stock Market (
Current spec is that it's a crossword clue - EXCHANGE could be an answer...
wasn't there an "MC" on the postcard? somthing like, "MC, please expedite global release. S."

hang exec, ruined on, stock market ( 8 )
maybe combined they make a clue, like some exec who hung himself after he was ruined in the stock market?

nifty, looks like they may have used a contingency plan just in case the media release would have drawn a crowd. Only those really in the know would have got to the point of the password, weeding out those there just to see what's happening at 'abbey road'...
so what about this 'hang exec' and 'ruined on', if we know the 3rd one is 'exchange'?
edit: hmm...
hang exec = exchange
ruined on = ?
stock market ( 8 ) = exchange

yeah "hang exec" is an anagram of exchange - the ruined on refers to the anagram element... exchange it is

maybe "Exchange" refers to the act and the password is completely different?

checking for 'ruined on' anagrams that could be useful...
diner uno
ride noun
in our end
ruin node
nude iron
red union
those are the only that really stand out

No because it is a crossword clue:-
Hang exec ruined on stock market ( 8 )
so it's the words "hang exec" ruined and somehow relating to the stock market, and having 8 letters...
EXCHANGE

hm... well maybe, it might make sense if it's read like "hang exec ruined, on stock market" but it doesn't sound like standard crossword clue grammar... *shrug*

i've seen some Sunday Times (London newspaper) crosswords and that kind of clue fits in with the way those clues are structured - slightly different from the crossword puzzle you typically find in newspapers here
Take a look at the cryptic puzzles here

It is standard cryptic crossword fare - punctuation etc is another part of the clue's cluey-ness... the problem is if we start looking too deep into what it could mean, then we get bogged down in all sorts of spec when "exchange" is kind of screaming out...
and then Dinah comes and we go "erm..." and she legs it.

Abbey Road new report Hey guys
Saw a report on BBC news this mornin that mentioned Abbey Road studios are opening studio 1 to the public, and are showing films there.
It's not looking all that important now, and is probably just a coincidence, but I thought I'd mention it just in case

It looks a lot like a Times crossword clue - they're usually cryptic in the main crossword. And no, it's not taken from today's puzzle. Will check yesterday's later....
