A couple of other Dinah's related to Abbey Road:
Dinah Shore - did some work with Glenn Miller - so be careful if it's foggy, we could watch you disappear on the webcam never to re-appear!!
And Dinah Beamish played the cello on the Abbey Road EP - so keep an eye out for overly large musical instruments!

people keep saying that. I don't know why, eh. I dont think london will be so lucky as to get all the action. We saw NYC had a runner earlier, and the PMs are going to great length to involve newspapers fFrom all over the world.
I sense a strong undercurrent desire to involve as many locations around the world as possible.

Mmm, well rob didnt say we would be doing ALL the running around, we know this is a global arg....but dont forget the PMs are mainly in London, so it could make for easy on the spot changes and additions for them... but as we've seen they've got people in NYC too...

Abbey Road - SIMULTANEOUS WITH FILM FEST LAUNCH! I don't think anyone's mentioned this, but Abbey Road is going to be EXTREMELY POPULAR on Saturday 19th - it's the first day of the Abbey Road Film Festival, with screenings taking place in Studio 1 itself.
The first screening begins at noon (doors open 11am). The film is A Hard Day's Night - perhaps a warning to all of us ARGers for the rest of the game - and it's possible that this is where the action is going to be.

However, on balance (with the webcam link), it seems more likely that the event we're supposed to see will be outside, on the zebra crossing. perhaps this was all co-ordinated with the film fest to ensure a good crowd.
Just make sure you know your Sente from your Ringo when you're watching the webcam...

Just a freindly suggestion...
you might want to brake that email up something like above the spolierizing it is cute but it dosen't hide the email adress in the html code of the page. that's what the spam bots are going to harvest from not some kind of funcky OCRing of the screen.

Hear that, London guys? Now you have three jobs: find Dinah, amuse us spectators, and advertise the game to all the film buffs. I'm sure that's what Sente had in mind for you.

hmm .. consider printing up some mock-postcards and hand them out to people on the street..? or a pretty fFlyer of some kind with the newspaper clippings pasted together..?
I had wanted to make a newspaper-ad-mosaic anyway. I was planning on waiting till we had all the parts, of course .... but what's a little ambiguity among strangers!!

Surely you jest?!?
I'm more than happy to play this game, but i'm damned if i'm doing their marketing for them too!! Not unless they want to pay me a large amount of cash to do so (I also accept most major credit cards)

As we've heard in the past from the mill, the PMs an't too happy about gurrella advertising which may interfere with the game (remember the ebay cube?)

I wonder where exactly he have to ask for Dinah? I'm sure it will be fairly obvious when we get there. I haven't had a look at the area yet even though I live two miles away but are there many phoneboxes? Is the monument thing on the webcam a possible meeting place? I spose one other option would be a message on the perplex city site at the same time as we are there then someone from chat etc. phoning us up to give us directions to Dinah? Who knows, I'm sure it will be clear when we arrive....
