The emergency response test described is supposed to take place during Spring Break. Spring Break is listed on the calendar as March 17-22. Maybe the start date of the game? Or a significant event in the game?

Also, I believe these are new upcoming events listed:

Spring Job Fair from 02/24/03 to 02/28/03
Construction is complete on the new College of Science Physics Research Center!
New student recruiting for next fall semester has begun. Please email admissionsSPLATnru.us with recommendations.
Additional faculty positions for the College of Physics announced. For information on search committees please email admissionsSPLATnru.us.

Final construction and delivery of research equipment has been put on hold. More information will be posted here and an official press release to follow. All invitations are still valid for the grand opening celebration when the building is complete.

Also, an article on the previously mentioned Emergency Response exercises that took place during Spring Break:

Does anyone know what the PMs are doing here? They're still updating the NRU site occasionally, but there's nothing really happening of any consequence. With the announcement that the new Physics building isn't ready yet, are they telling us that the game is being put off for awhile? Are they waiting for CTW to slow down? Is there something that we're missing that hasn't been solved yet? Anyone have any ideas or inside info on the future of this game?

Has anyone seen the photos on the success of the spring emergency alery, http://www.nru.us/Press_Releases/20030324.htm? Looks like a lot more than an alert to me. Looks like all out war. My hunch is that the game is swinging into motion. Why else post all this new stuff?

The annual giving fundraiser specifically funds student activities and extracurricular events including recreational programs, the creative writing endowment, and our first ever puppeteering event scheduled for this summer. The puppeteering event is completely free to the public and will feature a number of prominent puppeteers performing for K-12 school children.
