[also crossposted] I was asked to pass along the following for Sean Stewart:

I hope that the player community for ILB also recognizes that they have a part share in this award, and in a way that (I think at least) is different from the role of the dudes playing GTA. Y'all co-created the game: you co-share in the award.
...
Give my best to all.

Yeah, but I think it would be best if any Beekeepers in the audience refrain from rushing the stage with Elan.

I'd Like to Thank... I just want to give a shout out to my homies Pita, Darkforge, Mazian, Ranger_D, Ceantari ... where you at girl? We couldn't have gotten all those phones answered without y'all. And for my people who couldn't be here...the goddess squad and all Chicago, DC, New York, Arizona, Ida HEY, HO, HEY, HO! All you beekeepers, much love....
But I really have to say...we owe it all to the big man up in the sky watching over us all. None of this would be possible without him. So, Thank You Superman!

/me hides on stage, thus preventing the 'rushing' you speak of... and steals Phaedra's bee costume. =P

YO YO YO YO HOMIE Rollin' from the 'hood here. .... Actually, not sure if Idaho has a 'hood per se. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw a [PC]colored person[/PC] here. Now white hick farmers those we've got a plenty Strangest thing too is the huge Indian population (not Native American, but Indian, you know, from India). But that's due to having HP and Micron here in town. Makes for some great restaurants though
Anyway, back to topic ... YAY Elan (and team)! Does anyone know if this will be broadcast in any way shape or form?

Personally, I'm of the opinion that the best thing that ever happened to British cuisine was the subjugation and colonization of India and the subsequent importation of Indian spices, recipes and cooks.
Of course, it would have been better if they'd just asked nicely for culinary help, but you know the British.
Thank goodness the cross-cultural pollination only went one way. I'd be sitting here crying real tears if the British throw-it-in-the-pot-and-boil-until-every-last-speck-of-flavor-is-dead-then-serve style of cooking had rubbed off on the Indians.

Hmm. He musn't be hurt.
I like the idea of hiding onstage . We're ARGers. We can solve anything. Surely we can figure out a way to not be noticed until it's too late.
And you, astute_falcon! Give me back my bee costume! I might need it!

What about the Combat Training Lanyard? It has official looking logos for Halo2 and Bungie and Microsoft. We could just flash those at security.
Seriously though.
How funny would it be for a phone to ring while Elan is accepting his award? And have Durga on the line...oh man. sooooo perfect.
