Any word on whether they'll be availiable in stores? Or if he'll bring some with him to ARG-Fest-O-Con?

Bought it last night and read it all during the night.

Great book, and well worth 10$. Especially the parts of ARG-Creation which contains some wonderful information, and the ARG-History part.

Just my humble opinion.

Over and out.

A Few Notes about "This Is Not A Game" 1st Digital

Thanks again to everyone in ARG-land for their support for the book. This early digital edition is actually a way of saying "Thank you" to ARG players everywhere, by allowing you to get your hands on and read the book now at a very reasonable price, without waiting for the published print version.

This edition is formatted for 8 1/2" x 11" printing and the print-on-demand version available now from Lulu.com is an 8 1/2" x 11" journal-sized book. For those who prefer a more traditional sized book, there will be a 6" x 9" p.o.d. version complete with enhanced layout, available at Lulu within a week.

Finally, to answer Rob's questions, yes to both. After wrestling for what seems like years with various publishing interests and their offers, TINAG has settled in with a print publisher, and publication details will be released within the next week or so as well. The book will be available in book stores in a traditional and professional hard print version from this publisher, as well as online at all the major outlets.

And, I will be bringing print copies with me to NYC ARG Fest, where I will be conducting a Puppetmaster Training Seminar at the request of the Planning Committee. Further details on the PM Training Event will be announced shortly.

Thanks again to everyone. It's exciting to be a part of this genre right when it is literally taking off to a whole new level and finally getting the media attention and respect it deserves. Speaking of which, TINAG is being featured and reviewed in several upcoming editions of major magazines and on many gaming, marketing, technology, and literary websites, which is sure to bring even more coverage to ARGs in general. I'll keep you posted on where to look for the articles.

If you have any questions or comments about the book, please feel free to e-mail or PM me.

Signed ones would be awesome!

I personally like physical books.

Cover Quotes Wanted!

Hi Folks.

I just wanted to let you all know two things about my book, This Is Not A Game.

First, the standard trade paperback sized version (6" x 9") is ready now for print-on-demand publication. This version has the same content as the initial, larger edition, just in a smaller format and an enhanced layout.

Also, I am looking for very short quotes from ARG players and creators to possibly use on the back cover of this new edition. I have several review type blurbs from professional reviewers and writers but would definitely like to include a few from people within the actual ARG community too.

So if you if have already read either the downloadable e-book or the journal sized print-on-demand version and would like to possibly see your name in print on the back of this new edition, please PM me with a short, thoughtful (or witty!) quote about the book that you think might make good cover material. I'll add the best ones to the back cover design of This Is Not A Game as soon as possible. You can also contact me through any of my websites with possible submissions.

Thanks for supporting the book and in advance for any quotes you submit.

/me waits for the mini paperback to appear on Lulu

Or is it there and I'm just blind? International peeps, order in March for free shipping! (that's usually the worst part of the price)
