SPEC: Voynich Manuscript

During a conversation in the chat room, maggiemae has pointed out that the spiral design from the tree painting the latest Hallow Needle update (seen here) was similar to an example from the Voynich Manuscript.

Further digging has brought out many scans from the manuscript, accessible at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library database of photonegatives (search using Voynich). Many of these scans appear similar to the wheel grafitti, like this one here.

The center of your wheel-picture resembles the small tablet Wes found on Devil Hunt II. Has anybody asked him about it?
