IMHO "Your key may require service" lends more credence to the spc that the key is a physical object or an application, rather than something along the lines of a cookie.

From the Subscriptions page:

"The Sentinel delivers Perplex City to your doorstep -- every day of the week."

I'm assuming the "to your doorstep" is not to be taken literally? I think that's just there as a homage to the old paper-based saying... Although Alex Smith's comment about a PDA-like paper got me thinking.

Also, anyone think maybe the numbers (160-600, 468-60, 250-250) mean something?

size of the ads, squares, leaders, and skyscrapers.

nothing to see here, just a man slapping himself silly with a river fish.

I saw that people might be having trouble viewing the ads because of blockers, so I thought I'd make it easier.

Then I threw in a thought without... well... thinking. Or overthinking, as the case may be.

[EDIT] Saw I'd typed 'through' instead of 'threw.' It's a pet peeve and I couldn't let it stand. I must be tired.

OK, new SPEC.

What I was saying about bias, got me thinking. Maybe PPC is totally government controlled (including the Sentinel) ala 1984. That would also kinda explain the keys. Objects that you need to do anything in PPC.

Maybe someone at the Sentinel (or government, however we look at it) is bad-mouthing our Mr. Kiteway to get the job?

Gah... I dunno.

[wishful thinking]i wonder whether any of our 'mug-shots' from Abbey Road will appear in the Sentinel at any point?! Could this be why Dinah wanted to take pictures of us?![/wishful thinking]
