The subscriptions page says

Short-term subscriptions cost a reasonable PCL70 a week, or you can save with our year-long subscription for only PCL2,350.

This is either a steep discount (nearly a third!), or they don't have as many weeks in a year as we do.

Well we know that they have twelve months in a year from the futures - the Receda Cube focus page has articles from different days in a month the first date 1 feb 2004 and the latest date in month being 29 Nov 2004.
So we can assume that there months are at least 29 days long if not longer. Regular 29 day months give a 348 day year and working on Earth-like principles, a 6 day week.

Maybe we should look out for the next edition on Sunday? This is confusing as they give a whole week's stars but say in the subscriptions section "The Sentinel delivers Perplex City to your doorstep -- every day of the week."

Confused

imho we just have a whole lot of information to give depth to the story line like grand theft auto 3 or 4 or 5

there are all kinds of easter eggs and side places that add depth without having anyhting to do with the game

I honestly think it is a mistake and they forgot to index the directory. If you notice in all of the directories they have for every website it all has the same protection, it'll just instantly refresh you back to "/" which is main public html directory.

But I guess that lets us know that they haven't put anything up for January, February, or April lol.

Which kind of makes the second "The Cube Theft" kind of dumb because:

http://www.perplexcitysentinel.com/focus/recedacube/

January 15, 2005

Would be /2005/01/.

Guess it doesn't exist... anymore.. Rolling Eyes

thats what i was getting at maybe here is a good place to watch for updates if it isn't fixed by the pm's

Just a little note (prolly been mentioned pages back, but i've been a bit slack with keeping up with the posts) the title block on the top of the main page, [+Sentinel+], has a darkened image of our favourite postcard for a backing. Doesnt really help, but a nice touch none the less.

All of the following pages have a title but no article, and were created on the 21st

Corolla Trial Adjourns
Tokei Seeks Performance Permit
Soker Signs Book Deal
Woolcot Defeats Goran
Halley Peace Accord Signed
PCAG Mulls Schedule
Camber Called to Testify

I so far as of yet havn't been able to find the url for the "Council Accounts Questioned" articles.

--edit--
removed the part about not being able to find the url for the subdivison provides suboptimal dining article...

Has anyone attempted to access this site via some sort of hand held? Pocket PC, Palm, Cell phone w/ wireless web? Not having access to this technology at this time, I can't try it myself.

I doubt that that would be the only way to access deeper into the sight. An ARG of this magnitude wouldn't want to limit it's player base due to a technology restriction. However, it's worth a shot I think.

I tried ith : Firefox, IE, lynx, links, curl, and tried to change the User-Agent string. The page is always the same.

This is where both reading the thread you are posting in and search are your friends. Lotusflower reported this back on page 15 of this thread.

Perhaps this is true for the "Internal Edition". Maybe the "External Edition" is only weekly. For that matter, who would the "External Edition" be for? Is Perplexcity a true city in a broader world or is it a "self contained" city that has closed itself off from the "outside" for whatever reason?
