Maybe we should add the people from the logs into the list under Academy Employees

I saw another slogan for PCBC:
"Where Lecks work smarter."
Aaand... this is as good a place as any to maybe put a trout. Anyone notice that the names seem sorta.. pun-ish? I tried searching for the one name I thought was pretty obvious to see if it's been brought up, and I came up negative.
The one obvious one is Ram Zadorin. I think it's like "Ram the door in." (add in a defacto russian accent and it's cute).
It makes me giggle, but other than that seems sort of irrelevant. The other names, though, just kinda strike me wrong. Like there's something I'm missing in em that's almost there but I can't grasp it. Like Garima King. I keep thinking like a pirate royal saying it. Gar, I'm a king. Too much stretch?

I thought it might be a good idea to list and match up registered Perplex City domain names with actual names and events mentioned (I'll leave out the Academy and Sentinel ones as they're covered). May come in handy later.

Would it be best to add Heatcote Group, Heathcote Assurance, Heathcote Regional Development Corpand CJM Holdings to the list. I don't see them on there.

I'd have to say the whole list of domains has come up numerous times, and i can imagin the PMs getting a little annoyed of this list being published as it takes the fun out of it almost...but hey its up to the mods here to decide

I'd have to agree Nik_Doof. It seems behind the curtain to me. Besides, it lacks definitiveness since some of them can easily be out of game.

I'd say the PM's are experts and knew that someone was bound to dig up domain names, do reverse IP's, and generally try to take a look behind the curtain. That's the main reason there's no content in any of them unless we're supposed to see it. Also, we don't know if some of them will be used or not.. they could all be a red herring. Besides, there might be twice as many in-game sites that don't start with perplexcity. So really I would say no harm done, and only time will tell...

I'd agree. It seems a little too obvious for the PM's not to know it would happen. However, if it's a road to nowhere, feel free to ignore it.

Which is more exciting?
Finding a link mentioned in passing on website / hidden in a puzzle / found on a Google search for a product mentioned in an email
-OR-
Culling a list of all possible domains from a reverse lookup and checking them randomly until something appears on a site?
For me personally, I like the former. It's always great to see that something that was mentioned in-game actually exists. Makes me feel more connected to the in-game world. The latter to me just feels like "oh ya, i knew about that. bout time they put something up there". In other words, very very blah and goes to further remind me that none of this is real.

/me thinks the "one Taverson Square" is a reference to "2 Dzerzhinsky Square" (now Lubianka Sq. Moscow) that houses the FSB/KGB.
This is possibly the wrong thread for this, but I couldnt find anywhere suitable, and it doesn't really need it's own thread.
