Story so far...

Perplex City is a place somewhere other than "our world." Perplexians seem to be relatively secluded from the rest of their world, but, rest assured, other than that they are strikingly similar to us.

Presumably, 268 years ago they found the Cube. Little is known about it, aside from the fact that the Cube is a subject of worship, and, though extensively studied, still not scientifically understood. There have been several attempts to steal the Cube; the last one - on Jan 16, 2005 (267 A.C. Perplexian time) was successful.

Since the Cube was housed in (and stolen from) the Academy, the head of the Academy - Sente Kiteway - took it upon himself to find it. To that end, he requested the help of people on Earth - namely, MindCandy. Together with the Academy, MindCandy created a game through which the details necessary for us to find the Cube will be provided. You can read more about it here.

On March 21st the PerplexCity Sentinel website went live, and this has been our main source of information about the current events in PPC since then. There is also the Academy website, where we learned more about the people involved with the project, as well as about some of Perplex City history.
