If you just need a place to host it, email it to me and I'll put it up somewhere for you.

In addition to Space's answer, the reason it doesn't work is that it is located on a MSN server, which you need a Microsoft Passport login for to see.
When I opened this thread, my browser even prompted me for a Passport login. So if you have the possibility of placing it somewhere else, you should do so to avoid the Passport barrier, or else take Space up on his offer to host it so you can access it directly.
For the time being, I took the liberty of deleting it from your profile, because it kept producing Passport and/or Microsoft .net login dialogues on all pages displaying your avatar (i.e. threads you post to and your profile page). Just to be sure, I saved the url: click .

That's an interesting accusation. Do you have any evidence to back it up? Is there no other possible reason why your avatars ceased to appear (i.e. maybe something about where they were hosted, perhaps)?
In general, if a moderator or administrator removed your avatar, it would only have been after private messaging you. This is common practice here, and I cannot think of any reason why you would have been treated any differently.
Furthermore, I'm curious about the avatars in question: Were they less than or equal to 100x100 pixels in dimensions and 20 kb in total size? If so, I cannot imagine that they would have attracted any attention from the administration here, since they'd be within the allowed specifications (by the way, the rules for avatars are right there in the avatar control panel where you set yours, so you really cannot claim to be unaware of any rules regarding them).

oops I wasn't accusing anybody in a mean spirited fashion nor was i trying to imply that i was being treated unfairly... I've only been a member for a couple of months and of those couple of months, have only actually had access to a computer for a few weeks, so I'm learning. Just asking for reasons that's all.

Mmm-hmm. I'm afraid it's going to be hard to give you reasons without knowing what happened. And I still don't know. And without some description of what the avatars in question were like (did they or did they not fall outside the allowed specifications), I cannot even begin to guess.
And language like what you put in the first sentence of your reply there is going to get in trouble here in the long run (see the Terms of Service ), so I'd watch that if I were you.
EDIT: Offensive language was removed

Checking to see if an image is okay to use as an avatar here is easy in Firefox. Simply right click on the image in question and choose Properties. This usually will tell you the width, height, and size of file.
You're welcome.
P.S. I can see the forum trying to link to an image for an avatar for you, but it's not working, so I'm thinking there is something wrong with the URL you're providing. If you can let me know where the image in question is located, I'd be happy to try and help you sort it out.

Hmm, not sure why it wasn't working from the original location, but it just wasn't. I copied the image in question to imageshack.us and set it for you in your profile. I hope that helps .

Re: thank you very much
Firefox gave me the most unusual message when I tried to load this image by clicking on the link:
Quote:
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
and the URL was changed to http://www.allavatars.com/images/direct_linker.gif
Basically what I see is that the hosting website did not approve of your directly linking to their image, no doubt because it can unfairly burden their bandwidth every time your avatar needs to be displayed on a page outside their site.
It seems xnbomb has rescued you by moving the image to a more link-friendly storage location.
