[INFO] Transcribing Phone Messages

As Ehsan said, it would probably be a very good idea to start transcribing the audio files. Until the wiki gets up (I don't have any webspace to do so - sorry,) how about we use this thread as a place to store all the transcripts? I'll start off with Nisha's phone messages...

Hey..uhh…Look, I'm okay, everything's fine…every…*sigh*

Okay, some stuff got screwed up. Aw, man. I stole a car. But, it it's not what you think, I swear. Aw man, you are gonna be so pissed when you hear this message, shit! I, I just need some time to figure out what's going on. Uh, I don't know when I'm gonna be back there so I'm switching all the voicemail to your side of ian-net. Shit. I know what I'm doing, I know what I'm doing. At least, I think I do. I, I'll call you tomorrow. Alright, bye.

Bob Needlan again, calling from Audi Security for Ian Yarburough. You need to call me back at 1-866-657-3268 our only other option is to take this to the next level and get the police involved.

In the second audiofile, there's a woman's voice in the back. Assuming Bob is calling from some office, that isn't too out of place. I can't make out what she's saying though.

Transcribing reminds me of ILB. Smile

What's up, Ian, it's Will. Uh...sorry man. Uh..are you all right? Those guys were pissed, man. I finally just told em your name, but I didn't want to get you in trouble or anything. I dunno. I don't do this spy garbage, you know, so. I dunno, gimme a call. Let me know you're all right. All right, later.

Hey I figured out what your weak-ass program was doing wrong. The new tracking program is [big? fixed? - couldn't get this word]. I put it up on Iannet for you in your personal files. Later.

Ian: Hey…
Nisha: What in the hell is going on?
Ian: Hey, listen –
Nisha: I've got security people calling here looking for you, mentioning the police, and you call telling me you stole a car? Will Star is freaking out about [unintelligible]. Breaking and entering
Ian: He had nothing to do with anything, you tell them to lay off of me!
Nisha: ME TELL THEM? Me tell them? You get your ass back here and you tell them exactly what's going on.
Ian: I can't do that. This is bigger than they think.
Nisha: You stole a car from a dealership?
Ian: God, no! Well, yeah, kinda. It's complicated. I stole it from the guys who stole it from them.
Nisha: Then bring it back.
Ian: I can't! Listen, there's something going on in the car. Gunter put something in them.
Nisha: Gunter? German, Asshole, thief Gunter?
Ian: Yes, he's up to something, he put something in the car. Information about…something, I can't quite figure out what it is.
Nisha: Ian, Gunter is in jail, you saw the newspaper article.
Ian: Yeah, before he got caught.
Nisha: Oh, this makes zero sense.
Ian: I know, that's why I need you to buy me some time!
Nisha:I'm not doing anything. You get your ass back here and explain to them it's all some sort of mistake, and return the car.
Ian: No! Look, Nisha, I can't do that, not yet. I can't do that.
Nisha: Ian!

Transcription of April 4th call from Audi to Nisha

Quote:

Nisha: Hello

Diane: Hello Ms. Roberts this is Diane from Audi
Nisha: Yes

Diane: We've decided to accept your offer on getting the car returned to us.

Nisha: Wonderful I can get started tomorrow.

Diane: One condition we have is that the search be carried out in a vehicle of our choice. An Audi A3 with a tracking program.

Nisha: My search will be strictly professional.

Diane: It's not a question of your professionalism, it's a question of getting our car back.

Nisha: Is there no other way to handle this?

Diane: We could involve the police at a higher level and formely charge Ian with the theft.

Nisha: No, no, no, I'll take the case on your terms.

Diane: Wonderful. I'll have a contract sent to you later today with instructions on where to pick up the vehicle.

Nisha: Thank you.
