What does that mean?
Here is what I found for definition on the net... it doesn't make sense for me...
Quote:
zowie: What you say when you hit your thumb with a hammer really hard.
Example: Zowie! That hurt!
Can some native english speaker help me?
/Belga
Edit: removed spelling mistake
Also a expression of pain, like Oww! or Ouch!

Zowie is not to be confused with "Zoinks!" or "Zoinkies Scoob!" or even "Jinkies Scooby!" Zowie is reserved for moments of unhastened realization, especially where a momentous change has occured or great profit has been realized or lost.
Height of Ascendancy Point = 1.3km =
51193.95 inches
4265.079 feet
1421.697 yards
6.462261 furlongs
0.7019421 nautical miles
0.8077825 miles
A forest? more than a mall.
Was the cube displayed in this building?
Is the Old Town everything outside the Ascendancy Point building?
Is it just me or is Scarlett much more capable than her father and sister?

Definitely an americanism that one...over here you're more likely to say..."bubbling blancmange!", "by the bald birds of Spot!" or "rocketing raspberries!"

lol. Isn't it the kind of thing you would expect to see in a batman comic in a big spikey thing.
Yeh, it does sound very much like those Arcologies from Sim City with the big forest garden kinda thing on top.

I think that since PXC is still in 'trailer' phase, the whole character of Scarlett Kiteway has totally been improvised. We are so insatiable for updates and things to do that they threw this nugget at us to fend us off from brute forcing our way into things just to learn.
That said, she seems to be answering questions that we are sending in, so why not get her to answer some meaningful ones. As of now, we have no idea who is even in question or has been questioned for the theft. She may have more backstory info that we can drag out of her, instead of asking about possible websites that won't even be up yet.

I just wanted everyone to note that the word "Amazing" is used four times in three Scarlett Kiteway blog updates.
I quit doing the maze when I figured out it was irregular in shape. Has anyone gotten any ideas on this?

Wait, I might be wrong but 1.3 is really really high, I don't think our tallest building is sooo tall...is it? Well, if it isn't then taht definetly shows they've got better tech then us, engineering isn't a small field

nope. as i mentioned in another thread, the current record holder is just over 500 meters, and they are building one that will be 800, the highest in the world when its done.
and this is just the highest in the city, not the world. (the point)
Maybe their gravity is less than ours -- allowing for higher buildings, and making the mass of Acendency Point even more significant to them.

Zowie is just an exclaimation - as in, WOW!! I think the Batman T.V series in the 60's would have used it a lot. Like Thwack and kaboom in the fight-scenes.

I wasnt aware Zowie was an american term. I use it regularly. hooray fFor colloquialisms!
"Zowie" is nice cos it rhymes with "wowie", as in the case of this fFrank Zappa song, circa 1966:
Quote:
Wowie Zowie
Your love's a treat
Wowie Zowie
You can't be beat
Wowie Zowie, baby
You're so neat
I don't even care
If you shave your legs

the Acendency Point really reminds me of that Star Trek Voyager episode where Janeway tells the story of Shannon O'Donnell her relative who she thought helped build the Millennium Gate...all the info they pull up on the Millennium Gate from their computers shows it to be triangle shaped too iirc....its in season 5 and is called 11:59 if anyone feels like watching it to see what i mean ^^

Assume their technology is no more advanced than ours (materials, construction techniques, etc.). Then to build a building on their world of 1.3km versus our max of .5km would imply their gravity is about 1/7th that of earth. Their world would be slightly smaller than our moon.

And would therfore have no atmosphere at all.
