[META] [SPEC] uh, schedule? update? Well, i mean, i was sort of expecting an update today. They are as much as 8 hours behind. not that we were promised an update by any means. but the past two major updates to the sentinal have been aroundabout midnight monday morning. So I guess i sort of was thinking that might be a pattern. so like, ok, either the pattern is, there is no pattern, or we havent fFound the puzzle to solve yet. *glances at the fFutures section* anything over there? er, not so much.
what could we possibly be missing?
[EDIT: added META tag. yanka.]

When I saw the letter come in from Scarlett Kiteway and the link to the new website. I was certain a puzzle had just flown over the top of everyone's head. I have a feeling the puzzle we were given by Scarlett was a clue to another puzzle we shoudl have seen. We should start by viewing articles and looking at either the first or last letters of each article. The articles under the receda section never change so that is a good place to start. As for eel and cucumber.. if it is to do with unscrambling the old clue.. then the Scarlett puzzle makes more sense.
I do believe we are missing something.. no appearance of an expected update is usually a sign for this.
I don't know if we should post 'what puzzles might be' in this thread tho? It could take away from the other puzzle threads...

well they have in a sense, although admittedly two updates on the same day of the week don't count as a pattern, you would need at least one more, that's being a bit pedantic though....
anywho, we so far have had major content updates on mondays...so we were expecting one today, but nothing has come up so far

Clues I think there's loads of clues in the stuff that's already out there ...or even just little puzzles that are relevant, but are just there for a bit of fun.
There should be a forum section for 'possible clues / unsolved puzzles' at least that way if people just want to play around to try and solve things, they can access them easily, rather than having to trawl through half the forum.
What do u think?
Not that I'll be of great use compared to some of you lot, but I'll certainly have a go at finding something useful.

i think the Puzzles section kinda covers that and has a helpful name that does exactly what it says on the tin like ronseal paint and varnish

puzzles Maybe I'm a bit blind or summat but all I see in there is mention of the futures and Dinahs puzzle which is solved.
I've read a few posts where people are still trying to figure out things which they think are possible clues, ...just thought it might be interesting for them to be put in there.

I'm not sure I understand... if you see something that you think is a puzzle, feel free to discuss it there. That said, I would really rather not see the Puzzles forum suddenly get loaded with threads like "I think that freckle on Scarlett's nose is a kloo", as puzzles, generally speaking, do tend to make themselves apparent (e.g. you'll probably have to base your post with at least some explanation of why/how you think this freckle is a puzzle).
If I'm still not answering/understanding your concern, please PM me.

puzzles LOL ok, get ya point.
As far as I can see from the wiki, there's still something from the postcard that remains unsolved and I've read about a few people still playing around with a bit of code from some picture.
If I think something is a puzzle, I'll start a thread in there ...I was just a bit wary of starting new threads being a newbie to all this.

Go for it Jackie! If you can make sense of the 23-digit number from hell, more power to you. I think I can speak for the rest of the posters to this site when I say we have all, as a group, and indivudually, disected it, decoded it, rehashed it about 2 million times. So, may the force be with you .
