Are you the 101.3 KDWB $10,000 Fugitive?

A local radio station is doing an interesting contest. Somewhere, in the metro area, there is a man who stole $10,000. If you can find him/her, and ask, word for word, "Are you the 101.3 KDWB $10,000 Fugitive?". He will give you all the money. On the spot.

Everyday, four more clues about the fugitive's identity, and his/her location are given. The latest clue has me stumped...

"F1=DP-MD"

What the heck does that mean? Any help would be appreciated!

I have no idea. I have a hunch it's city-specific, and since I probably don't live in your city, there's not much I can do.

What city is this? That would at least be a start...

Twin Cities.

I spec James Blond is trying to mooch our collective intelligence for a big payoff. Care to share if we help you win?

terminalskeptik, at least JB mentioned out front that it's a cash-scheme... Not to mention, $10,000 could go fast if it was spread everywhere... I say let's help, and if James Blond wants to "help a brotha out" later on, then he/she will do so. Cool

And if JB wants to give at least half of those winnings to a certain master of dorks, then I say hooray for James Blond! Laughing

EDIT: When I say let's help, that doesn't mean that I have ANY insight whatsoever into this clue... in fact, I can't help at all! Razz

D'oh, I used to live in the Twin Cities too.

Darn right, I am! When there's a puzzle that needs solving, this forum is the place to come! Wink

I'm far from greedy - if somebody can help me figure out this clue, and I find the fugitive, I'd definitely split the money!

Any ideas on that clue?

I checked out the site. The competition reeks of location-specific knowledge. I sincerely doubt anyone not from the area will be able to help much.

I'd be willing to lend a hand but we need more to go on than F1=DP-MD...you said that they give out 4 clues a day to his whereabouts...I've only seen one...since you posted on Monday and here we are Wednesday there should be at least 8 clues to mull over...

I'll check the site out but more info is better if you want the help JB...I know, I know...you're used to doing these missions alone and undercover...it's hard to open up...lol...

One of my local stations in SW Indiana is doing a contest like this as well. Grafittied billboards and a few are you the fugitive signs. Don't listen to the station though *shrug*
