 		 Character Rundown
I think it is good to have a rundown of all the characters at this time. So here goes:

Dr. John T. Baptiste:
Human. Former Prof. Emeritus of Biblical Studies at Harvard University. Expert in Angelology/Demonology. Owner of http://angelsanddaemons.com as well as http://drbaptiste.blogspot.com.

Jibril:
Archangel of Messages/Communications. Member of the Council of Perceptions.

Mikhail:
Prince of Seraphim, Archangel. Member of the Council of Perceptions.

Uriel:
Archangel of Peace. Member of the Council of Perceptions.

Raphael:
Archangel of Healing. Member of the Council of Perceptions.

Metatron:
Archangel. Former member of the Council of Perceptions, temporarily suspended. Number Two suspect in Raziel's disappearance. Temporarily Keeper of the Sacred Mysteries.

Azrael:
Archangel of Death. Former member of the Council of Perceptions. Number One suspect in Raziel's disappearance.

Camael:
Archangel of Security for Heaven. Guards the gates to Heaven.

Malik:
Archangel of Security for Hell. Guards the gates to Hell.

Israfil:
Archangel of the Resurrection. Checks on Hell 6 times a day.

Raguel:
Archangel of Justice. Investigates things. In charge of the investigation into Raziel's disappearance.

Raziel:
Archangel, Keeper of the Sacred Mysteries. Lost for quite awhile. His corporeal form was recently found at Megiddo, dead.

I'll update as things progress...

 		Camael and Malik are the Archangels of Security, and Raguel is the Archangel of Justice.

 		well in the islamic tradition, Israfil (aka Sarafiel) is the Archangel of the Trumpet of the Resurrection - he hangs around at God's feet until the Day of Judgement at which point he will blow that trumpet....

Edit: apparently as well Israfil is _sometimes_ another name for Azrael, but that's clearly not the case with these folks..
