Just found him there. Is this him or someone in the game (I mean it´s not har creating a Daleaccount) ?
Anyways, I´m there and our accounts are now befriended.

I did a serach at bookcrossing for people from Aglaura and found Dale and someone else called Abu-Amaal. Here is the link:
http://www.bookcrossing.com/membersearch/?username=&city=aglaura&state=&country=&postalcode=&referredby=
Abu-Amaal has referenced a book callec Uncle Tungsten: Memories of a Chemical Boyhood by Oliver W. Sacks . Unsure if this is related to the game but Abu-Amaal has 2 friends at bookcrossing dsyager and gabeywizzard. Dsyager has referenced The Incunabula Papers: Ong's Hat and Other Gateways to New Dimensions by Joseph Matheny.
He then asks Are there any others out there who have experienced this book? Anyone think they are in game as far as I know Aglaura is not a real place.

Re: DaleSprague at BookCrossing.com Good find! I think that was the day he got out of the hospital. We probably should keep an eye on this to see if he releases any books.

Abu-Amaal not in-game Abu-Amaal is a player, not an in-game character.

I guess we'll have loads of players "hooking up to" Dale at bookcrossing(including yours truly), as it's the easiest way to keep oneself updated if he posts something. The backdraw is that it will be almost imposible to detect in-game characters, that could lead to new info. I guess there is no way around this problem.

Dale not on Bookcrossing?? Dalesprague registered at Bookcrossing on Thurs March 20, but he wasn't released until the afternoon of Friday March 21. So I think it's more likely that it's another player confusing the issue...unless the times are out in some way?

/me sniffs. Smells out of game to me.
Looking here,
http://www.bookcrossing.com/membersearch/?referredby=DaleSprague
It says that Dale referred MrGeist to Bookcrossing, and the at least the majority of people in Mr. Geists friends list are all players.
Now, maybe it works backwards, and you enter who referred you, and its not tracked, but why would you say Dale reffered you?
hrm...

Newbie Questions then... If this is a player creating a distraction, is that outside of the rules or norm or etiquitte or whatever we call it here?
If that is the case, can the PM tell us so?

I wouldn't put it to the PMs to come and directly tell us something.
We'd be better off finding a more in-game way letting them tell us. Anyone try asking Dale about it?

There's nothing to say that he couldn't have registered the day before his release.
Anyone sent a message through BC to Dale and recieved an answer?
I'm going to watch this as if it were in-game for now.

from Dr Kendra 19 March.
I'm still keeping an eye on it, but I think it's a player being confusing unfortunately!

someone also using the name Aglaura as a screen name and she talks about that strange book of two invisible cities that was discussed earlier in the game when the aglaura site went live
also a friend of flybynight
just food for thought
