I just a moment ago read that, seems to me atm that the brotherhood are just some colony who have been around for a while and uncovered some things about colony which no one else has yet....

I don't beleive they are necessarilly connected with the gamem8ker or The Owner...

If you mean the way they got a lot of points? Well, they used a script to sign up huge amounts of colonists.

I've looked at tjeir colony and their names were all like lovemetoo1, lovemetoo2, lovemetoo3.. lovemetoo336.
Can't remember the real name, but I do remember seeing a huge list of sequentially named colonists.

They also got a huge amount of bonus points. Not sure about those, probably a script to make forum-posts or something.
