Backstory IRC chat with Jibriel

Here is a load of backstory and info from a chat I had with Jibriel. It's quite long, but I think it may be helpful. I convinced him to ask Mikhail if Israfil can contact the Daemons, as they may be hiding something. Warning- really long chat.

<Jibril> I do not know of any gospel written by Mikhail.
<Jibril> I do know that parts of gospels are written about him.
<Darkstar> Yes, only Raziel has written his own.

<Jibril> I only pay attention to the humans who are most active in their assistance in finding Raziel.

<Jibril> Camael's angels have stopped all shifts into corporeal until Raguel reports to us.

<Jibril> Azrael's angels are on alert, ready to ferry Raziel's soul back into heaven if necessary.
<Jibril> Raphael is on Earth with Raguel, to tend any wounds needed.
<Jibril> Mikhail is in consultation with the Lord.

<Jibril> Neither on the side of the Lord, nor on the side of Satan.
<Darkstar> He wanted to prevent the war.
<Jibril> He wanted to prevent the Fall of Lucifer, who was, and still is, his friend.
<Jibril> Why the Lord allows him to remain in heaven is beyond me.
<Darkstar> His friend from before the Fall. Friendship is hard to break.
<Jibril> Perhaps. However, I think most would agree that a situation such as Lucifer's would force a break to every angel with even the slightest bit of loyalty unto God.
<Darkstar> But what of the other factor. His suspicions of Mikhail.
<Jibril> Unfounded untruths.
<Jibril> Patent lies whispered to him by the Deceiver Lucifer.
<Darkstar> But if *he* believed them, then he would, in his mind, be aiding God.
<Darkstar> It is a tricky subject.
<Jibril> What he believes is of no consequence. He stood idly by as Lucifer and his host drew up against the Lord in battle.
<Jibril> There is no excuse for such behavior.
<Darkstar> I suppose you are right. But his actions have led to a balance
<Jibril> A balance?
<Darkstar> Of Good and Evil. The ultimate balance.
<Darkstar> Am I right in thinking an angel cannot be destroyed?
<Jibril> Never before has an angel been destroyed.
<Darkstar> Then how did Lucifer plan on destroying God's angels? And eventually unseat God?
<Jibril> That much is unknown to us in heaven.
<Darkstar> Surely such a plan is delusional if it cannot succeed.
<Darkstar> And Lucifer is not delusional. Evil, but clever.
<Darkstar> There's a thought, what have been the Daemon's response to this situation?
<Jibril> Perhaps, then, Lucifer was indeed delusional.
<Jibril> That is a good question.
<Darkstar> Have you had any contact with them since The Fall?
<Jibril> None.
<Jibril> Only Azrael and Israfil are allowed contact.

<Darkstar> Have they been contacted at all?
<Jibril> Israfil has not, and Azrael says he has not contacted them.
<Jibril> This, I find hard to believe.

<Darkstar> In angelic terms, how long ago was The Fall?
<Jibril> Fairly recently.
<Darkstar> Ok.
<Darkstar> Has the Pope entered Heaven yet? Apparantly he has information which could help clear Azrael's name
<Darkstar> A witness.
<Jibril> The human you called the Pope has passed on.
<Jibril> He cannot clear Azrael's name completely.
<Darkstar> I know. But he can help.
<Jibril> He has said all that he can to help us in our investigation.
<Darkstar> Which was?
<Jibril> He verified Azrael's whereabouts for the short time that they were together.
<Darkstar> Ok.
<Darkstar> I still cannot find a reason why Azrael would do such a thing. He is neutral.
<Darkstar> Something deeper is going on.
<Jibril> Perhaps...
<Darkstar> Would it not be a good idea for Israfil to make contact with the Daemons? We need as much information as we can.
<Darkstar> Even through their malevolence they may be able to shed some light
<Jibril> I can consult with Mikhail about the idea.

<Darkstar> What were the circumstances around Raziel's disappearance?
<Darkstar> Did he just disappear?
<Jibril> Yes
<Darkstar> I think I heard that he became corporeal for the first time, which lead to his disappearance.
<Darkstar> *led.
<Jibril> Well, when an angel shifts to corporeal, he does disappear, for there is no communication from Heaven to Earth, except via certain messaging systems.
<Darkstar> You, for example.
<Jibril> Therefore, when Raziel shifted, he disappeared. Not as a consequence of the shift.
<Jibril> I'm sorry?
<Darkstar> Are you an example of a messaging system, or is your contact strictly for humans?
<Jibril> I am an angel. The interface you are using is one of those messaging systems.
<Darkstar> Ah
<Darkstar> Im sorry if I seem to be asking a lot of questions, I am just trying to get as much information as I can

<Jibril> The Battle at Megiddo, and the events which lead to it, is the subject of Raziel's second gospel.

<Jibril> I am afraid not. Only two humans have ever seen them, and one still does not know what he holds.

<Jibril> Yes, there are two gospels of Raziel.

<Darkstar> May I ask who the other is? Is it Enoch?
<Jibril> I am sure he knows in his heart already.

<Jibril> Enoch the Man was a well known figure in Heaven, just as Metatron the Archangel is.

<Jibril> I do not know for certain. I know only that he is at Mount Megiddo.
