helpful information

I found this to be very helpful. Is the idea that the forums won't contain the general factual information of the game--websites, characters, locations, etc.-- in an easy to find thread?

Personally, I find relying solely on the wiki to be problematic because I have had trouble accessing it.

I have to agree with Rose. I like having lists like this on the forum for quick reference. I'm not crazy about Wikis for quick referencing. They're great for trails though.

So thanks Kelis, this is a great list.

Yeah, I've found the forum has a much easier interface to use. I dunno, it may just be me. The Wiki has it's purpose, but the forums can be helpful while you're still gathering facts.

I, too, use the forum extensively. To cut off new threads (as long as they're not trouting) would kill some of my enjoyment of the community and the game.

It's fun! Relax! Wink

This is not the way to encourage people to post, especially when this is a very nice list and useful to others.

If you're going to reply like that encouraging others not to be posting, then don't bother. We may as well encourage you not to do the same.

We will soon have a Quick Reference forum added to this category where information such as this can be posted, but until such time here is perfectly fine.

Righto. Wasn't aware that there was going to be a reference forum- combined with the recent cleanup of the forum, I thought I was being organised. Sorry Wishi!

Also, some of us that access the forums while at work, can't access the wiki due to WebSense blocking it.

Perhaps this list should be broken down into smaller parts and transfered to the "Resources" section?

Well, it hasn't been broken down, but Scrappy put it in the Quick Reference section this morning.
