Quick dictionary attack didn't work, and brute force (presuming they pick something longish) will take on the order of centuries. I'm running my software through the paces anyway. (The new Winzip uses 128 bit and 256 bit AES encryption.)
We might have to wait for Ian to come through on this, but my guess is there's going to be puzzles to encounter once the whole thing gets opened.

If anyone is interested in setting up a distributed attack, post here. I use Visual Zip password recovery, so if you have that we can set up a job on multiple computers. It would also help a lot of you have more than one computer..
I'm just hoping the password is not TOO long or we'll never get it..

Note that this thread should be used to announce any new passwords for any of the protected files in the SD card, so no need to create new threads if new passwords are found.

I'm such a goober, i tried that in all caps, but not lowercase. Silly me.
Now the pictures... The first ones of the neighborhood look very american. But the others are very europiean. DSC00095.jpg has a red sign on it with the word "affittasi" and as best i can tell it's an itallian word that is something like "for rent" (based on googling for the word and looking at the sites returned).
the "american" intersections listed Aster Rd. x Columbine Rd and Myrtle Dr X Goldenrod Dr. may be some sort of puzzle/clue. Or could be usefull words to try for passwords in some of the other files.

The street names are plant names, if it matters...
All the US pictures were taken on 3/12 between 10:25 & 10:32 AM.

The theme of plant names is probably due to the neighborhood they were taken in. DSC00089.jpg has a car in it that appears to have a white license plate. I found this site with a list of all 50 states plates. But there are a lot that are mostly white. DSC00087.jpg of the "snow emergency route" sign, seems like something that is popular in the northeast of the US. So there may be something to be pulled from those two tidbits of info.

above passwords I tried the above passwords on the .doc's and the .zip, but I'm on mac os X, so I'm not sure if the .doc password function is working properly. Also, can't install the kremlin decrypter.

ktg01.txt I broke ktg01.txt down into 10-4 bit groups & put them in hex:
0110 0010 0101 0011 1100 1010 0011 0000 0110 0110
6 2 5 3 C A 3 0 6 6
Any ideas? Yes, I'm grasping at straws.
