I'd expect this is just part of a larger puzzle. A "3" by itself doesn't exactly give us anything.

I can't take credit for finding it, just sharing the info that I come across. Collaboration.

I didn't put the puzzle images together, so I can't say how they were assembled. The second pic is the reward for solving the puzzle. You guys (ARGolonists) have solved the puzzle, right?

If you look at the crowd behind the car in the shot you get for answering the challenge correctly, they look rendered. Could this be an actual concept shot or even screenshot of PGR3?

I thought the crowd looked real just blurry, but now that you mention it i went back and looked at it and i would agree that they are rendered, mainly due to the shadow of the guys arm on his chest. I bet it is from a launch game. Too bad pics like that always look good and i doubt its in game so it doesn't show us much regardless of how good it looks.

99% sure it's not related... the gamertag is XboxLive, and we know who's using the account based on the schedul they posted on that page. IMO not related to Gamem8ker or colony at all
