Mayor's statement of INNOCENT

I emailed the mayor with concern about his statement under the pretense of vacationing there to see if I could get a little more info. This is all I got.

Ms. Hensley -

The Mayor has been rather busy of late, but he did ask me yesterday to
respond
to you on his behalf. He does honor his open-door policy as best as he
can.

To answer your question - there were some strange goings-on, all
seeming to
center around an unfortunate car accident by one of our Council
members. The
accident didn't even happen in Aglaura, but for some strange reason, it
sparked
a lot of e-mail and visitors looking around and talking to people,
trying to
find out more about him and the accident. Fortunately though, it all
seems to
have died down as of late, and most of the strangers seem to have gone
home.

We have always been a quiet town with a minimum of crime complications
(as of
late, the worst that comes to mind is some graffiti artistry in the
recent
past). If you enjoy the idea of visiting our normally quiet little
town, I can
happily recommend it.

Thank you for your interest!

Lorraine Tweed, administrative assistant for
Pat J. Dobbs
Mayor, Aglaura, NJ
