thanks, Stevoid! Great work...I think...

Always being one to stumble around blindly, seeing what I can stir up, I posted my own test message in reply to Miss_N's...

I believe the the "^ n d r s k o: r " is "underscore" since the ^ is pronounced like the "u" in cup or luck.

"h u:" should be "who" since "u:" is pronounced like the "ue" in blue or the "oo" in food

so the whole thing might be "livejournal.com/~who_in" but that leads to a 404 Confused

and how is the lincoln (which i think is a valid username at livejournal.com) graphic related to this Confused

Ouch. Because it's Abe-L to be Lincoln to it. Your turn.

It's still there for me, even after refreshing.

dang.
now it is there.

Can't be a refresh error, since I had written in the address in the browser by hand both times. This morning, when i posted my note here, there were no "comments" left for the message.

Hmm. But I'm betting it's a technology glitch instead of something sinister.

masonic image

Hi just browsing this site (don't know anything about ARG's) but I noticed the image at the start of this thread shows a freemason in a pose which is (apparently) the masonic distress signal - i.e. arms straight out from shoulder to elbow, upright from elbow to tips. This ties in with the SOS coded elsewhere. Just thought I'd put it in the open since I hadn't seen it explicitly mentioned.

1. Damn posting SW dumped my message.

2. trout (small letters) - we have indeed figured it out, although we could have used someone like noBohdi who recognized it right off since we fiddled with it for a number of days before getting a clue.

And whatever happened to the trout icon?
