I wonder why the postcard, the Sentinel's images, and Scarlett's images are all illustrations, but the images in the original communication from Sente are all photographs? If illustrations are a fad (as Scarlett says they are), why did Sente give us photos of the cityscape, the academy's logo, and his actual letter? (Apologies if this is troutworthy.)

Nope, IMO, you can put the fish away.

In addition to those you mentioned, there's that Ceretin ad, assuming it's not faked. Although I think it probably is. I know we've been around this before, but it just occured to me reading your post: they supposedly are so out of the habit of using pictures that Scarlett had to ask her sister about them, yet there's a pic for one of the ads? Am I the only one who sees this as totally contradictory? (Would more people see it that way were she shown/drawn as a 500 lb 90 year-old man? he he)

I'm starting to agree with those who say she's sort of there to put us at ease. Evidently it's working on some of them too. I just wish there was some way to see what the other hand was doing while she's keeping people occupied and dodging questions. Can't wait until she puts "OMGWTFBBQ" on her blog. Sheesh.

We desperately need another way to get information. Preferrably before this blog/news routine bores us all to death. (Maybe that's the plan?)

Maybe the backers are paying the PM's by the day. It would certainly explain their reticence towards quick progress. Laughing

Perhaps the photos were taken in our world and the illustrations were made in their world. Just a thought.....

It makes sense in the context of photos=Earth and illustrations=PC, but I think that raises more questions. Why is there an Academy letterhead on Earth? Why were the photos taken on Earth, and what are they supposed to represent?

I can't wait until Friday - I feel as though I've been waiting for lift-off for years now!
