I know, I looked again and the post has been removed... whether it's linked to ourcolony.net or not it does seem to be linked with the AIM version of gamem8ker because at the time it was posted gamem8ker came on and the last line of the paper is I will not respond and he didn't... a week link I know but anyways, sorry to hijack the thread... back to the warped person

The letters LLE can also be seen on the image.

They are rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise and are in line with the low grill, but just to the letf on the image.

I was looking to see if the half X was reflected onto any other part of the car, but this is all I could find.[/img]

On the subject of the bubble, I'm not sure if this is helpful, but it's actually displayed with flash, and as such, you can right click on it and "zoom in". The flash is prolly just so the bubble will react to your cursor moving over it, which it does. But people without photoshop can use the zoom in to get a closer look at the picture.

i've got a feeling i know some sources who could get a program that can download a .swf and break it down into its component parts. but then i might've been really tired that morning in the lecture, so i'm not sure if i'm talking lies and heresy

Our Colony Blogspot Blog

I couldn't find the "piece of paper" on the blog either. However, even though the Blogspot Blog hasn't been linked from the ourcolony.net site, the blog is actually using the javascript from ourcolony.net

From http://ourcolony.blogspot.com/
Code:

      <style type="text/css" media="screen">@import "http://ourcolony.net/code/css/colony.css";</style>
      <script src="http://ourcolony.net/code/js/global.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
      <script src="http://ourcolony.net/code/js/validate.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
      <script src="http://ourcolony.net/code/js/countdown.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
      <script src="http://ourcolony.net/code/js/orb.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Also another blog which I didn't find a mention of in the forums, http://spaces.msn.com/members/gamem8ker/ , probably fake, but just though i'd mention it.

i don't know much about scripts or anything, but is it possible to create one that will search all possible numbers (replace the star in the examples below) up to like 10,000 for both of the folders http://ourcolony.net/images/challenges/*.jpg and http://ourcolony.net/thesecret/*.jpg?

it seems to me that if there are some pictures (placed somewhat randomly, despite the seperation of 132 between each number, that was probably just so gamem8ker could remember what the numbers were without looking them up or writing them down) there definitely could be more. i don't know if such a search is possible though... i guess it could be possible to search for pages with a number in place of the star whose page source doesn't contain some code from the "page cannot be found" source. just thinking aloud here really, i have no idea if it could be done, but it seems plausable for an experienced programmer.

as for http://spaces.msn.com/members/gamem8ker/ , i think it's not so much a fake (well, it is probably fake in the terms that it is not really gamem8ker) as a website created by someone who is following the game and just posting any updates on there. again, just conjecture...

but using the same code is nothing. that can just be copied and pasted for authenticity

I'm downloading the scripts one by one and looking at them with VS .NET, I'll let you know if I find anything useful.

//var td = new Date('May 12, 2005 20:00:00');
//var td = createUTCDate('March 15, 2005 00:00:00');

This confirms the countdown date.

Is this the air time of the Xbox 2 MTV slot?

Theres an application called Action Script Viewer (or ASV) that can do just that. Unfortunatly it's 60 dollars. If anyone has it give it a try.

Also theres a program called Flash Decompiler that has similiar functionality.

Heres a link to thier sites if anyone is interested.

The images in the .swf file are just the images you see, not any originals, there's nothing interesting or hidden there.

Anyone can create a webpage, etc, that links to the same stuff... does not make it in game.

I have some tools like that like a mass downloader. As soon as I find a list of all the numbers, I'll do a scan.

Would you give it a rest with this crap? We all know that the blogs may or may not be true, and right now, they are believed by the powers that be(i.e. the moderators) to be false. WE ALL GET IT!!!!! Just let us be, and allow us to talk. We are enjoying ourselves, which is what this thing is supposed to be all about, is it not? Now, please stop telling us over and over that it isnt connected In Game. You aren't our parent, so allow us to make our own mistakes.

I would however like to state that it was crazedcow and I that first started the conversation about the blogs, and it is the two of us who will have the last laugh if the blogs do have an affect on the outcome of the game.

The blog has nothing to do with ourcolony, if you want to talk about the blog do so in a relevant topic
