New Message: TeamXbox: more points for you today. Any ideas on what he means by this?

I answered the last challenge first for Team XB. Yes, I'm bragging.

The reason it makes me curious, was a few days ago when he praised the one team for taking such a strong lead, "can they keep up the pace?" And then the "hammer" as everyone has taken to calling it, fell. And down they went, to like rank 694. That's why I ask. Is this sarcastic? Where are all of those points coming from? I know that ninjan33rs has had new recruits, but we're not getting anymore points from recruits.
I'm also operating under the assumption that you get points for submitting good challenges when he uses them. And they've been getting those points over a period of time unrelated to new challenges. Particularly the Ferrari one, since that wasn't a colonist submitted challenge anyway.

To you other fellows, there have been teams getting challenges first all along. What made this instance special enough to get a shout-out?
P.S. That's awesome if you individually submitted first. I was sitting here all day, and I stepped out of my apt for 3 hours, only to come back to find the newest challenge completed. So incredibly heartbreaking, lemme tell ya'.

That makes my question different, but A question remains:
Why is TeamXBox still getting points for new members, when ninjan33rs is not?
Can ARG or Yay confirm that they're still getting points for new people signing up, and maybe this is just my team's issue?

ok. lets think about this. you guys were in first, then got overtaken. then, u got dropped. the only way you guys got that many colonists is if you guys were using scripts to create anonymous accounts, which means that if you are doing it again, you will be dropped again soon enough. i mean come on, i hit refresh like every thirty seconds for 5 minutes, and you gained an average of 35 points each time! thats just ridiculous.
