EMAIL: Library

To whom it may concern,
I am an old colleague of Dale Sprague's, and have been running into some strange things with regards to his story, and his later commitment. I know this is out of the ordinary, but I understand that many of you may have been friends with Dale. I would greatly like to see Dale released, and would appreciate it immensely if you could send me a list of books he's recently checked out, or if you can't do that, please inform me of any odd-sounding books he may have requested? I really would like to help Dale, and any information you give me, could help with that.

Thanks for your help, and concern, in advance,

Dear Dr. Amaal:
What a wonderful idea you have had as far as BookCrossing.com is concerned. I am, of course, familiar with that website and their service and think this is a
truly inspirational idea. The only problem would be in the legal issues involved in disclosing what are considered to be, both legally and ethically, confidential records. We may be able to get around this, however, by having her
husband, Dale, authorize the release of this information. Have you contacted him about this idea?
I'm not familiar with the specific book you mentioned but you have certainly raised my curiousity in regards to it. I'll see what I can find out for you.
By the way, if you get a chance, you can find out some more about the month long special event on the Aglaura NJ webpage where there are links from both the main Aglaura page and the Aglaura Public Library pages. There are pictures there of a few of the Featured Items as well as brief description of what you can expect to find in this very special showing. As soon as we get a chance, we are going to add a little section about Sarah Wyatt, which hopefully will answer some of your questions about her.
Also, please don't forget about our two Library Fund Raisers this month.
The first is scheduled for this Sunday, April 6th and will be held at the Library like past Fund Raisers. The second Fund Raiser of the month, normally scheduled
for the third Sunday of the month, has been re-scheduled due to the Easter Holiday and is now set for Sunday April 27th. This will be a very exciting event and will include an auction of some very special items. More details
will be posted on our webpages soon.
Just between you and me, the Fund Raiser is a very pleasant "win" for me.
You may know that I haven't been very happy about that old trunk that was found in
the Library during renovations and how Phyllis Willingham and her little antique store ended up with the whole thing. If it wasn't for my son being the Mayor, I would have raised a big public stink about it too. But at least Pat
and that slimy husband of hers got her to go along and donate some of the contents for this upcoming Fund Raiser. The Library should benefit at least a
little from the materials found within that trunk.

Thanks for your interest in the Aglaura Public Library.

Mrs. Agatha Dobbs,
Head Librarian, Aglaura Public Library

Comments:

There is nothing here that seems to call for immediate
follow up on my part, though I could pursue the matter of Diana's recent readings by contact with Dale, in which case I would want to know what address people are using for such contact at this time (synthasiadaleSPLATyahoo.com is it?)

If you want to make suggestions without posting them,
mail me at abuamaalSPLATearthlink.net, or send me a private
message here.

Apparently she's finally answering her email again, because I just got this back in relation to my question from like a week ago:

Hello:

I believe the asterisk you have pointed out is nothing more than a typo, by either one of our Library staff or by the Library's webmaster. we're sorry but mistakes do happen.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

This was buried in the middle of the canned text that others got from the librarian about the auction:

My question:

> Hi Mrs Dobbs.
>
> I'm very interested in purchasing one of the art
> pieces you have spotlighted on your website. Will the
> colorful Tree painting by Sarah Wyatt be up for sale
> at the end of the month? Did she ever give it a title?
>
> Will your auction include bids from interested
> out-of-towners (via the Internet or telephone)?

Her response:

This will be a very exciting event and will include an auction of some very special items. Yes, the "Tree" painting will be included in the auction and we are making arrangements to accept either internet or telephone bids or perhaps even both. Becasue that painting was until recently unknown, we are not certain if Sarah ever named it.

Dear Barbara,
Thank you for your interest in the artists featured in our month long
Celebration of Local Artists and Their Work. Unfortunately, I don't
have the
time to respond to individual requests for additional information right
at the
moment because I am finishing up the new material for the webpage that
will
hopefully answer the questions you and many, many others have been
raising. Sa,
has promised me to post the new material just as soon as I give it to
him so
you can look for it in the next day or two.
With all the interest this show and the upcoming Fund Raiser have
already
generated, we are all starting to get very excited about the month to
come.
Oh, one quick note for you. Ms. Malika Still is actually a descendant
of the
famous Still family that has been in the area for generations. There
are
several of her photographs included in our current show.

Malika did the photo of the hands that showed up in the trailer. She must be related to Dr. Still. Wasn't he disredited because of no licence? Do we have more on him other than he used herbs for cures. Could he have conection to digitalis?

So herbal medicine and the underground railroad. That could connect in someway to digitalis, pitcher plants and gateways. I am thinking outloud right now.
