i would guess that 79 refers to a year

Yeah, 79 seems likely to mean a year.

There would be a couple of options for two rods as well.

two (nuclear) fuel rods,
two hot rods, (some sort of race to save the family?)
two guys named Rod?

Hey.. Just a couple of thoughts... 79 had a few big things that it could deal with. Blizzards, 3 mile Island, Gas Crisis. Those come to mind.. Also, 79 is the chemical symbol for Gold in the periodic table.

I am from the colony "CMFAsylum." I will agree that working together is the best bet... Trying to help. You guys are right, Team X-Box is full of useless drivel at the moment.

"rods" are also a measurement length. 2 rods = 33 feet. Smile
