I say we find MC HQ for 2 reasons
1) they said that people are going to try to find it
Maybe Adrian said that because they already knew how much spec there's been about it and knew that it would create more!
I think people may have forgotten that the objective is to find THE CUBE, not MC!

1) they said that people are going to try to find it, then did the zoomy bit into the background - someone with a dvd recorder get pics of that please
2) they said they are not the PMs - thus they are not behind the curtain, thus we can hound them as much as we desire
Jeb
3) We break in and find the device they are using to communicate with Sente ;P

It's called the 'internet', I think.

As for finding the location of MC....

In my very humble opinion, this is a terrible, terrible idea.
<SNIP!>
..... don't you think that if they wanted the public to be able to just barge in to their office, they would have made that intent abundantly clear?
OK, fair point well made. Giving it some more thought, we're not exactly gonna find the cube in their window box are we? If we follow the logic of them being in game then we must equally work on the assumption that they truly don't know where the cube is either.

Don't know that this is anymore behind the curtain than suggesting we break into their offices. I can't download the further reports. I've known about this for about 5 months. They were incorporated at about the same time as everything else was being set up in the syzygy phase. The address is just a registered office at a firm of city solicitors. There is further info out there but I'm not subscribed anylonger to these services - however someone working for one of the large accounting firms should have access.

Mind Candy too.. FWIW, Mind Candy is also registered, their address is:

I feel that Perplex City Ltd is OOG, but Mind Candy is somewhat in. Anyone near either address to see if they match the video?
FWIW, the above address is shared by a number of companies as far as my web searches indicate. So it may simply be their accountants (or solicitors as the previous address). That's quite common practice for limited companies so that they can deal with all of the statutory requirements without bothering the owners unduly.

THinking about the views from the roof on the programme last nigth - it doesn't really seem to fit with the buildings in that area.
I'll go and check it out on Wednesday; I'm at a meeting on the next street then!

In the guardian article it claims that MCHQ is in south london, whereas the address that is registered there is out to the west.
In which case, either 1) the address shown is not that of MCHQ, or 2) the guardian reporter was asked to lie about the location.
tbh, I don't think we should try to find the HQ, as i certainly don't think that is an In Game objective and additionally it will probably just mean that if we did locate it, they would be forced to move the HQ somewhere else, thus slowing the game down even more!

that address is probably just a mail room that would forward to their actual location. I'd go with it being in South West London seeming as thats where the parcels were posted from.

I don't think finding MC HQ is a bad idea. Assuming someone figures out where they are, I see two possible outcomes:
Team UnFiction Member knocks on office door. It's opened by a MC employee.
Team UnFiction Member: Hi, I'm looking for the cube. Do you have any clues you can give me?
Outcome 1:
MC Employee: No, sorry. Sente was really particular about how he wanted the search to go. He says the PCA has done studies on this type of thing, and they say that the best way for people of Earth to find the cube is to slowly release information and puzzles. Then when there aren't any more puzzles and clues to release, our minds will be properly conditioned to make the logical jumps required to actually find the cube.
TUFM: Oh, okay. Thanks anyway.
Outcome 2:
MCE: Actually, we have some PPC artifacts / physical clues / maps / stuff we don't/won't have time to put on the internet that we need to get out. If you could help us by promising to make sure everyone finds out about it, I'll let you have it.
TUFM: Anything to help find the cube.
Even if we find their place and get outcome 1, I don't think they'll be all that upset. If they really don't want us to bother them, they can put a sign on their door telling all cube searchers to go away b/c everyone at MC is busy getting clues out to us so they don't have time to talk with us personally.

Or 3... ....They call the police to have you removed from the premesis
Or 4, we set up camp outside and tail everyone that comes in and out of the building until one of them goes to bury the cube.
Just kidding. However, I think given the interview with the culture show they appear to be daring people to find them. I don't know if that's to enable them to release some objects, or just to get feedback on the success of the projects, but I really don't think there's any harm in following them up on it.

I'll grant you, the curtain in this game is very .. uhm .. fFoggy. but what curtain is in place, i suspect is there with barbed wire.

Well they both seemed coquettish, nay, come hither in the interview.
"They'll never find us. titter titter" Okay - not an exact quote but you get the idea.
What about this location ? Try the south london link ... (Clapham)
