Maybe it's just in the words: All Star

I mean, most everything on there is (fairly) famous in one way or another. All stars.

Fighting game------->Andre the Giant

Not an enourmous leap of faith, perhaps they're making a baseball game?

Also is it true we only get one go answering this puzzle?

Here's another thought:

What do all things have in common? They are ALL Animated characters.

Frank Thomas was an Animator for Disney... he made Bambi, Toy Story, among others. He's extremely famous. Maybe THAT's the link.

Frank is meant to connect us to animation?

First off, it's possible that microsoft still has some offices in Chicago in some way. They are not primarily located there, that's basic knowledge, but MS has many connections to Chicago. One of those connections is the fact that Bungie used to be based solely in Chicago before moving to Redmund.

Second, the photo's are not reversible. Once a picture is saved in .jpg, .gif or many other formats, all the layers are locked and the entire picture is merged. In order to reverse the effects, you would need the original .psd file with the layers unlocked.

Was the starwars doll animated? Everything else seems to be.

I was thinking tchotchke but that didn't work...

I hadn't thought of that they are all animated. That's a good catch.

Another thing they all have in common... they're all collectables.

Also, they're all forms of advertising. (Even the stickers for that one)

Lastly, if ObeyGiant IS supposed to be important, what may be important is their tag: The Truth is in the Medium.

What's the medium? Action figures? Ads? Animation? Cartoons?

Airport Codes:

Chicago Midway Airport (MDW)
Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD)
Baltimore International (BWI) (based on who the Sox played on 5/12)

I remembered the references to airport codes earlier in the game, figured it was worth throwing out there. Plus, Midway has popped up a few times.

The Truth is in the Medium is very similar to "truth brings revelation".

Noble, great observations.

gamem8kers taglines however, are about as helpful as, "Reading brings knowlege," "Research brings information," "typing produces arthritis," and "attempting to solve ourcolony.net challenges = no productivity in any other area of life Very Happy

Noblekain and I were discussing last night about how conveniently the flowers block out the word ALL and GAME is blocked by the box and Miyomoto(sp?) battleship destroyer leaving the word STAR and DESTROYER or BATTLESHIP...of course as most of what we've covered in the past 50 pages of dicussion, maybe this is meaningless as well...kinda like this post I just did. Sacre Bleu!
