[Meta] Who is running this game? This has to be the worst run ARG I have ever seen, linking to an OOG site without permission is just the icing on a very poorly baked cake. The quality of the whole endeavour has been pretty low. I think someone needs to pull the plug now, as from a marketing perspective it is likely going to end up doing more harm than good.

It pains me to say it, but I think you may be right.

I would have to agree. This game is going nowhere- the people running this have no idea how to deal with the blessing of an extremely interested, eager audience(because of the Xbox pics).

Seconded (or fourthed, meh). It may be the key to *something* interesting relating to the new Xbox, but it's been truly shoddy so far.
The last puzzle was the only remotely decent one, and the long list of gaffes associated with this one has made my next few days away from the PC quite welcome.

The thing is though we can be sure they are not going to reveal anything too juicy as MS have spent a lot of money hyping the May 12th MTV spot. Nothing particularly interesting has been revelaed thus far, and I can't imagine anything wil be. I expect the people behind this will look for an excuse for ending the game that does not highlight their incompetence as the cause. I reckon they will go with blaming hakers or something.

I also have to agree. Not only it is pretty much pointless but spelling mistakes, shoddy programing and more has been with this for a long time, and it seems like it is only getting worse

Yeah. Xbox 360 related or not, an ARG should be fun for all who participate. This however is just a frustrating endeavor with no clear purpose other than to uncover some small and worthless images of a game console we will know about in less than a months time anyway. There's no story to drive the players. Instead it's just a bunch of random pointless puzzles.

I would not be suprised to learn that someone got wind of MS's plan to run an ARG and tried to beat them to it. I see no reason after the huge sucess of ilovebees for MS to not use 4orty 2wo again. 4orty2wo has denied any involment in this game...and from the level of quality, I would agree. Remember this did not start with some movie trailer or anything like that. And MS and 4orty2wo put on a hell of a game in about 4 months for ilovebees. In order for this game to run until launch, we are looking at 6-7 months. I just don't think this game has the staying power. This leads me to think that MS has nothing to do with this game. Remember those photos could have come from anything.

Exactly. I can understand if there was some goal, like a sneak peek at the new Xbox, but that isn't going to happen. This is nothing but a cynical marketing ploy by MS. Other ARG's have combined a marketing aspect with an enjoyable storyline, but this is just nonsense. The only goal in this game seems to be creating hype, there is no substance behind the game. PLayers don't mind being involved in marketing campaigns when the ARG is giving them something in return, this game however does nothing but take from players. it is a waste of our time and energy.

I hate agreeing to something like this. When it has consumed so many hours, I don't want it to just drop off and die.
We're all just frustrated about not being able to figure out this challenge. Nobody had a problem until this puzzle came up. Hopefully gamem8ker will give in tomorrow and change it, or at least give us a hint at what we're supposed to be looking for.
If that doesn't happen... I guess I'll give up on it.

Well I don't want to give up either. But if nothing new comes up I will quit. I am reading the challenge thread here and in other forums and everyone is just going around in circles, trying to find connections in what is seemingly totally random stuff. I praise the effort, but I can't help thinking that it's all for naught. There were some down periods in ILB too, but back then new content would come out periodically. Here we might need to wait forever.

Simply put:
Microsoft is running off fuel from Bungie. Someone at the Microsoft offices probably said: "Hey, this I Love Bees thing is a great idea. You! *Points to random executive* Make me an ARG in a month an a half! Drop random hints about XBox 360. And put some ants in it! I like ants."
