[UPDATE] Scarlett Kite entry - 4/20/05 New Entry!
Quote:
Probably shouldn't say this, but everything's going a bit mad in my house right now. There seem to be people calling all hours, and my dad's really stressed out, so I'm hiding in my bedroom most of the time and sneaking down to make toast when they've all gone! Sigh. This is not going to make me a top reporter... On the other hand, it means I'm getting way more studying done than usual. Term paper on Classical Riddles is almost finished. Yay!
Still, it's a bit tiring living here right now. I just don't want to upset my dad by asking him questions when he's so exhausted. I guess you've all seen the leak at the Sentinel; I know there's something planned for Friday but, before you ask, I don't know what it is and if I did I probably couldn't tell you! I'm sure you'll love it.
Hmmm... time for toast, I think....
Seems like a "don't bug me!" message.

Haven't we been asking her already? I don't think she's been checking her email, or if she has it's been filtered. Maybe her dad is worried about her leaking the information to us if we did ask, although I would have thought that would be useful to him.

Remember that Scarlett knows all. If she says just wait and see, we need to wait and see. Besides, I am sure that many of us enjoy sending flirtatious emails to what is probably a guy sitting at MC laughing at us all. Or, umm, maybe that is just me.

I have a terrible feeling (in my water) that Sente is going to have a heart attack just before 3 on Friday.
Just call me Doomy.

Actually, the fact that she eats toast is pretty interesting. It means that, even though they have high-tech 'keys' and automated highways, they still use something as basic as a toaster. Scorching a piece of bread is about as low-tech as you can get in my opinion...

Unless it is sold as toast, therfore bypassing the need to toast it yourself.

Or replicated out of thin air, completely bypassing the "bread" stage.
You're right. I stand corrected. Scarlett remains useless.
