[Update] April 19th Nisha has a new recorded call from Diane at Audi. Nisha is mad about the posters that Audi is distributing and posting in different cities. There are ten cities, NYC, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, LA, San Fransico, Denver, Miami, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.

St. Louis always gets overshadowed by Chicago.
That's craptastic.
Edit: That was pretty funny actually. I mean, typically, chicks hate eachother anyways, now add in frustration and whatever other ingredients and you got a phone call with some "screw you's" peppered in there. lol

e-mail from Virgil to Nisha... Damn he's a creepy mofo. I just hope that we are right about Ian.

Lies and the lying liars ...

I love it. Virgil gets to be all avuncular (I love that word and have been looking for an excuse to use it for ages) and present himself to Nisha as the one who cares about her well being, while Ian is the one deceiving her. But Virgil's logic in suspecting Ian, while sound, is not the only possible explanation (although perhaps it is the most plausible).
Premise: The set of images of artworks in the LRR flash are exactly the same works of art that Gunter is apparently preparing to steal from the Uffizi, seeing as they reside in the rooms of the museum that are the apparent targets in Gunter's plan.
Virgil's line of thought: Ian selected the works of art displayed in the LRR Flash. The coincidence that the works of art displayed in the Flash are in the exact rooms that Gunter plans to steal from in the Uffizi is too much of a coincidence, therefore Ian knows more than he is saying and may be involved in Gunter's activities.
Alternative line of thought #1: The LRR Flash was there for anyone to see, including those who are planning (or appearing to plan) the Uffizi heist. They may have chosen the particular rooms to plunder based on the set of artworks shown in LRR Flash. While this is less plausible, it does make sense if one of the goals of that selection is to make Ian look like an accomplice, which is exactly the angle that Virgil is pursuing.
Alternative line of thought #2: To me, Ian seemed genuinely confused/evasive when the issue of who selected the images that are in the LRR Flash came up in his conversation with Virgil. Ian did sound like a bad liar at that moment ... but what was he lying about? Maybe Ian didn't actually author that Flash file, and he just doesn't want to admit it. There was some discussion of how having the very same music on all the client report Flash files seemed a little amateurish ... maybe Ian's Flash skills are not all that he'd like the rest of the world to believe. Maybe Ian wasn't the one who picked that particular set of artworks for the LRR Flash. Maybe someone else did ... someone who is actually connected with Gunter's plan?
Either way, the circumstances have been manipulated to make Ian look like he knows more about Gunter's activities than he has let on. It's difficult to judge Ian's character, but we've seen evidence that he has a problem with pride and admitting when he is less than capable in a particular area. My feeling is that Virgil is using this flaw against him ... but only time will tell.

Cue the connection with CyberGosse. We've already seen Ian rely on CG for coding help. What was the other thing that CG said Ian was in his debt for?
Combine this spec with rose's belief that the whole ARG is orchestrated by Virgil, with Virgil's obsessive state-of-mind, specifically with Naoko and now with Nisha, and we get a possible grand-spec.
Is Virgil orchestrating and manipulating Gunter, CyberGosse, and now Ian in order to snare a new prize in his net? The game he runs is played against Nisha... in order to bind her to him.

Not so sure about CG, but yes, I also think that maybe Gunter is acting under Virgil's command. You do not actually need to involve CG in the picture: Virgil sees the pictures on LRR homepage => Virgil orders Gunter to go to the Uffizi and steal exactly those paintings.
Virgil is a man with: 1) an indefinite but enormous amount of money to spend, 2) an intelligence far above the average, and 3) a tottally f***ed up mind, currently obsessed by Nisha.
Obvious conclusion: the man will use every kind of sick, twisted and purely malevolent means necessary to get to Nisha. No, I stand correct: to HAVE Nisha, to WIN Nisha.
...ok, I understand there's nothing really new here, but I've been away for some days (damn work) and needed to post something anyway.

Signs... ooooo... Are we going to steal these signs so that Nisha and Ian can complete mission? I'd be up for it... I'd need someone to drive me up there but I'd totally take the one from San Fransico and keep it as my first real interaction piece from any type of ARG...

There's a new posting over at stolena3.com . It's audio from when Gunter was caught in the garage with the Audis.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It seems he was calling someone to tell them where he hid the information.
So who was he calling? And is this real or is someone trying to make it seem that this is how Ian found out?
(And when I ask "is this real" I'm not asking if this is some player trying to mess with stuff. I do believe this is in-game - but who ingame made it?)
Also, there's a new call between Nisha & Virgil.

Is Worry at StolenA3 Virgil? If Virgil is involved with Gunter, it would make sense.
Also, I'm going to try and do some recon at the downtown Chicago Audi dealer tomorrow. I'll see if I can find the A3 sign nearby.
Should I take the sign if I find it, or just photograph it?

Unless we are giving specific instructions to remove stuff - leave it where it is and just take pictures.
Remember, we want more ppl seeing this - that way they can start playing along with us.

I'd be really interested in where worry found that audio file. I'm guessing he's in game.
Phone call between Ian and Nisha. She's not happy with him, but i think she still trusts him. I can't tell if virgil is just in love with nisha and trying to protect her, or if he's manipulating her to think Ian is bad.

Okay...
Ian is Virgil's son
Both are obsessed in finding Naoka's killer (Virgil's wife and Ian's Mother??)
Nisha has no idea what's coming.
The murderer is Gunter?
Okay, I will put down the crack pipe...
